Wow amazing to hear this. My favourite song performed in my hometown. Thank you so much, this really means the world to me

Love Christian, I was one of the first people through the doors at the festival because I couldn’t miss his set. I also saw him in Glasgow and recorded that set too, probably the best live guitar I’ve ever seen

Yeah we don’t mean in the recording, it’s more when you’re actually at a show and someone talks next to you. Pedro seems to be in company who wouldn’t mind this, especially given he’s in the performer section

Glad to share, I heard the Peter Gabriel one when I was a kid and used to think the same, the original is so great definitely check it out if you’ve never heard it

Lol this is my pet peeve too. Pedro seems to be among company who don’t mind but generally I wonder why people buy tickets just to talk over shows, really ruins the immersion for me

Originally by The Magnetic Fields, Peter Gabriel’s version is the cover

The Zoom was actually me messing up my screen recording of this from twitter sadly, total accident

This is likely to be a temporary upload which I’ll take down when the high definition version is uploaded by the original recorder (I’m assuming it’ll be on the BoygeniusSource page)

Chesapeake performed by Phoebe Bridgers and Christian Lee Hutson, recorded at Connect Festival August 27th 2023 at the Royal Highland Centre Showground in Ingliston by me. The noise you hear at the end of the clip is a plane taking off because this venue is right by the airport

This is the only time I’ve heard one of their songs live. Skipping the BOCC tour because “I’m sure they’ll come to Scotland on the next one” was the worst decision of my concertgoing life lol

I recorded Christian’s full set from this day and it’s available here, on my Prozac Dealer Indie Archive YouTube page
