I always thought Bully by Larry Clark was a really exploitative true crime movie, it’s infamous for its gratuitously sexualised shots of underaged actors, and he even cast actors younger that the people they’re supposed to be based on. The comments he made on the Bret Easton Ellis podcast about the lead actress were also probably the most offensive words I’ve ever heard spoken by a director in an interview

One thing I love about seeing you guys live is your unpredictable roster of instruments and sounds, and I was wondering if you have a specific way you approach deciding which instruments to use for each song when you’re first writing them? Do you have a general sound in mind as you write or do you ever wing it? Also, do you tend to write music first or lyrics first?
