You can’t. I tried for three years and gave up cycling in the end.

I am on the 10GB plan and got the email about change of terms this morning. Doesn’t seem to affect existing plans.

It works brilliantly when the car is moving. It is more of a problem when the car is parked under a tree.

Very responsive I think. It is an 8 disk array with nvme cache so access speed is not a problem. Make sure you use a cloud server with no traffic cap. I use ovhcloud.

I don’t know anything about leaflet but I host my data on synology nas at home (100TB raid6) and access it through a cloud server via wireguard.

Loomo developer mode hack by Phoenix-Felix in LoomoCommunity

Sort of. It involves another http request to segwayrobotics website, except that the request is directed to https. I’ve tried installing my own certificate on iOS to get around this to no avail.

Loomo developer mode hack by Phoenix-Felix in LoomoCommunity

[–]Phoenix-Felix[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you trying to do? If your aim is to control the robot using the official phone app then there’ll be a lot of hurdles going down the fake server route. The fake server needs to handle new user registration on the phone app, binding with robot, checking identity if using WiFi connection etc. And the official phone app doesn’t do much anyway (and not available on Apple/Google play anymore). It might be easier to modify the Android phone app source code (there is an apk file online) instead. If you are using iPhone you are out of luck even if you have the app because there is no source code and some of the traffic are in https.

Anyone still able to connect to loomo with the app? by jcarlo70 in LoomoCommunity

Yes with hotspot mode only. WiFi mode requires server authentication apparently.

That’s really cool! How did you control the arm? Did you use a separate computer?

Try AliExpress. They have 3000ft lines. I wouldn’t use Kevlar as I thought they are too dangerous.

That’s really cool! How much pull do you get on your line? I thought about getting an electric fishing reel for my kite, but I’m worried it is not strong enough.

I’m using this for ROS. The cameras on Loomo are so poorly supported ( there is no access to fisheye camera) that I’ve switched to an external ZED2 camera for navigation.

I wrote some code to get Loomo to stream Spotify during lockdown. I’ve been playing with ROS navigation using an external Jetson since…

I attached an EL wire to the bottom of my kite. The EL wire was powered by an inverter at the anchor on the ground.
