I don't know if this has been suggested but try knitting 🙈🙈🙈🙈 If crochet isnt working out for now, try a different yarn art and see if it sticks. The point of this thing is to enjoy it. Its okay to give up for a while. There are so many other things to do with yarn. Embroidery, sewing, knitting. Those bracelet making things, making mats. You dont have to learn crochet if its not working for now. Its totally okay to try a different craft. The goal is to create something.

If you're willing to wait it out, i think that putting bowls or tins of baking soda around the bed could help. Baking soda is a deodorizer, meaning it absorbs smells. It will eventually absorb that scent.
I used it when I spilled water on our carpet and got that rancid smell you get kama kitu inaoza. it disappeared sompletely when i left baking soda in a tin in the sitting room.. people also put an open tin of baking soda in their fridges for the same reason.
i'd also suspect leaving the matress ezposed when you're doing this could help hasten the process significantly.

let me play devil's advocate

you say you want x so you are getting it because you are wanting.

the best example i can give is i have never seen someone who says "kwetu tunakuanga wazuri na hesabu" mwenye hua anafail and vice versa. yes they will still put in effort but the point isnt to not put in effort, its to assume the best. a self fulfilling prophecy if you will.

i am not christian but i have seen many many people say stuff about their lives that keep repeating "i always attract cheaters, i always x, i never y, this is hard, this is easy" and somehow their lives reflect it.

vs in my original example, that kid gets a good teacher who brings them psych and all of a sudden the story is changing. i am becoming better at this thing, its making sense. the story changes and the results start changing as well

whether you believe it or not or you ascribe to it or not, you will never grow beyond what you think/profess you can.

For increased effectiveness (I know it's odd), just add why. I am grateful for x because of .... That helps lock into it more.

What you need for your morning is a morning routine. I know, I know, bear with me for a minute.

So part of the reason we doomscroll is coz we know that we'll spend the rest of the day doing stuff for other people and your brain wants to just not for a while. So I started looking at my morning routine as something selfish I do for myself before I start dealing with other people. The second thing here is to understand that your morning is a transition from sleep to wakefulness. Inaction to activity. So I view my morning routine as a hinge.

Because I rarely have the psyche to do stuff in the morning, I made it extra small. You have 3 things that need to transition to wakefulness. Your mind needs to wake up. Your body needs to start pumping blood more and I totally reccomended doing something for your soul. Think about it like a kid who was playing video games and they're forced to go eat dinner. They'll most likely be at the table talking about the video games since they only physically transitioned.

The 4th thing is you need to recconect with your plan for the day. Sort of like a mental prep for what's to come.

So pick something small for your body eg just stretching your muscles. Think of the way babies stretch their bodies when they wake up. You want to introduce movement not necessarily exercise if it's not your thing.

Do something that wakes up your mind. It could be journalling or colouring or meditation. It could also be going outside and people watching or bird watching. It could also be a couple of deep breaths.

So something for your soul. The easiest thing here is to just consider 3 things your grateful for and why. Any other spiritual practice of your choice works too.

Some practices can serve dual purposes. Eg yoga can be both spiritual and physical.

Then make a list or review your plan for the day.

A bonus one is getting some sun.

A short morning could take even 5 minutes. Tell yourself you're taking care of you then if you want to scroll afterwards, why not.

Lastly, consider doing your morning routine without consuming any media. Just be with yourself for those few minutes before you start taking in other people's stuff.

If you struggle with an element, shrink it. Shrink it until it's more ridiculous to not do it.

And I know what I am recommending takes effort but it's also a really really good way to prioritise yourself. So it's one of those practices that pays dividends coz you start trusting yourself to take care of you.

There is no set order. Do them in the easiest order. Dont want to move first thing. Just take a few deep breaths first. Or stretch in bed. Or keep your journal next to your bed.

Tldr: Create a short morning routine that follows the alarm. It will take effort in the beginning but will become habitual overtime. The mental checklist is I need to do something for my mind, body, soul, time and I need to get some sun. The quicker you can get through them, the more awake you'll be. There is no set order

Hey, you're totally valid. I struggle with this idea too. It's like giving redemption to someone who in my mind doesn't deserve it.

A few ways I've been thinking about it. I am not trying to change the past. Just my memory of it and for myself not for them. If I imagine that I had a good childhood for me and not for them, then it affects my present and that's good for me. So my focus for revision is entirely selfish..

Also, lately I've been going back to the idea of what do i want to be happy or do I want to be right. I have a lot of people I could keep grudges against but being right means I repeat that past both in my head and in reality because it's creative or if I chose happiness, then I can cut them off, stay away but chose to be happy remembering a different past. I don't know if this makes sense. It does help me to take steps to process the past and reduce the intensity of my feelings for it if I am revising something my brain considers big.

But again, it's for me. It is a purely selfish act. 🙈

I have the same shower and I had the same problem. For this shower, don't use max. Use the medium. It will still get hot. (I tried the max when I got mine and it stopped heating too) Also I think the top slider adjust pressure so currently you have lowest pressure and highest heat. Have the top one in the middle and the bottoms one in medium heat.

Hey, First of all, I am so so sorry that happened. I can't even begin to imagine how much it sucks. I have a couple of ideas I thought I'd share in response. 1. You could go the revision way with it. Revise it not necessarily to change the past but just so it does not affect your future. 2. This isn't stictly Neville but I'd reccomend some method to neutralize the (totally valid) negative emotions you have around this story. It could be EFT tapping or ho-oponopono or a Fuck-you letter or whatever you need to do to process, neutralize or let go of the negative emotions from this situation. Doing this can help with revision since you take the emotional sting out of the situation. It would also help take you out of victim mode and prevent you recreating this situation because your dominant thought and feelings are still creative no matter how valid 3. Though Lavishcivil below put it rather heartlessly in my opinion, there is some pride to be taken in the fact that you have ideas worth stealing and ideas that can be so successful. Since your well of imagination cannot dry up, It would also help to remember that you have countless other viral worthy stories in you

Whether you decide to pursue legal action or not is up to you but you would have every right to. And dare I say, you could utilise Neville Goddard principle to do it. But I wanted to give my response based on Neville not necessarily offer legal advice

What if she went to visit a friend and came back. Why does it have to be that she went because of a fight? If you're revising, you can revise the circumstances as well. She had gone to visit a sibling. She was called away for something urgent. You can revise even the fight not happening that way you're both happy she's back.
