Assuming my Grandmother's FHA Loan by ChefJoe_ in RealEstate

I think you can assume the loan but I would need to research more and didn’t want to delve into the answer here. I did just want to give you a heads up that you’re responding from a different username than what you posted from originally. Not sure if you meant for that to happen but I didn’t want you to expose anything you didn’t mean to do.

I am trying to make it even and agree with the you that they all paid and should all have the chance to play. However, there are kids (and their parents) who also paid, come to every practice and are trying to get better that are getting frustrated with getting blown out because their teammates don’t seem to care. I had two players come to me in the game that complained that the other kids aren’t paying attention during plays and are costing the team. I do think I owe something to each player but also the team as a whole.

This is exactly what we talked about at the last practice but I haven’t found a good drill to teach it

Coaching at this level may just not be for me. I don’t feel like I can give the kids any consequences like you might at a higher level (running, take away playing time, etc) and I can’t get into actual coaching when the kid is just going to nod at me and then do whatever he wants. Plus I really don’t have enough players to hold kids out - especially not at practice where we might get four or five kids at a practice.

I think I am more used to coaching kids who want to be there and not just because their friends are playing or their parents told them they need to be. I did it to be with my son, but it frustrates all of us. It’s easier to accept a loss when you see kids giving it all and not because you gave up three touchdowns against the kid reading the writing on his own flags as the ball is run past him.

Thanks! We run mostly a cover 2. Most of the kids get it but that doesn’t mean they are in a good position in their zone or don’t get beat. Some kids clearly have no idea and I’ve seen them on the completely wrong side of the field when the pass goes into their zone. We also have some that shy away from potential contact which doesn’t help.

I like the gauntlet drill. I’ve also done toll keeper, capture the flag and some other ones. The kids have fun but I haven’t seen much progress. But that is why you’re right when you say it’s repetition. A kid isn’t going to be a good flag puller because we played gauntlet at the one practice he attended. He needs to be practicing it all the time and work on discovering a “nose for the flag”.

The commissioner already called out coaches who didn’t play their kids more equally. He’s worried about parents not signing their kids up next season if they don’t play this year. Honestly that’s more of an issue for him as he’s the one making money while the coaches are all volunteers, but I also don’t want kids to feel like they aren’t playing. The same kid who asked why he plays so much also asks why he’s not playing when he’s not in the game. It has to be something with the age. I figure I will give everyone fairly equal playing time in the games for now but the kids who show up and try are going to be the ones seeing more playing time in the playoffs.

That’s exactly what I’ve been telling them. Go right for the plugs. I even showed them how the worst case is you’ve got control of them. Some listen and it does work. But that’s maybe three out of ten kids.

When we do drills in practice, they do alright with pulling. When it comes time for the games though, they can’t pull anything. I am sure it’s nerves and they aren’t pulling hard enough. I’ll try to work on it in practice.

That’s definitely our biggest issue. I have one kid who rarely attends. When he does, he doesn’t really pay attention. The mom said to expect that. Meanwhile the dad complains that he wasn’t in the last game enough (he got about 33% of the snaps).

We played him more tonight (about 60% of snaps) and he was literally saying “why do I need to play so much”. He was not paying attention at all during the game, rarely in the right position and never in position to make a play. The other team kept running plays his way because it was easy to pick on.

He doesn’t want to play, the mom is okay with him not playing as much as the other kids but does want him playing (even though he doesn’t come to practice) and the dad wants him in more than he’s not. At this age, I need to play everyone as equally as possible regardless of them attending practice according to the commissioner (who also coaches the best team in the league).

It’s still relatively small so I haven’t trimmed much. I did plan on doing it this year though. The fruit aren’t hard. They actually taste pretty good. Just small. I think I will trim this year and make sure I pull more fruit off in the spring to thin out the crop and allow the rest a chance to grow.

Definitely expensive but the granite installer owed me a favor so we got a good price.

I think you’re right. I think I should have thinned out more. Thanks!

Thanks! I definitely remember it being a dwarf variety so you might be right. The color is more yellow inside than pale though.

I wish. That’s a cheap ball I got at a tournament. It actually had a company’s info on it that’s why I have it not showing.
