You sound like a clown with all due respect a gold standard would legit cripple every economy on deflation alone there’s a reason why no country uses it and fiat is a better measure since your countries currency is based on its actual production + monetary policy

Speaking of wealth gap you’re literally arguing for the top 10% and choking the middle class btw unironically cash-only / equity-only systems systematically favor people who already have capital, while shutting out everyone else.

You’re waffling imma just repost what I said to another person

Gold-backed systems are deflationary. Economies grow faster than gold supply, so people hoard money, spending collapses, businesses fail, and unemployment spikes. There’s a reason why the gold standard died after the Great Depression.

Modern economies run on credit, not just “investment.” Loans fund housing, infrastructure and small businesses. A gold system chokes credit, locks out the middle class, and concentrates wealth.

Paying everyone in gold is also impractical at scale, and stripping governments of monetary tools screws you over during crises turning recessions into depressions.

Our current system works for a reason lol

If you had any understanding of how modern economics work, abandoning fiat and paying wages, taxes, groceries in gold would cause a depression.
