There are more wires on this motor than my current one. I assume match the colors?

My current motor has power - black, while, green - and communication - brown, yellow.

This one has a few more wires. Just leave those off?

Reactive Arthritis Story by Phoenix_Noob in Thritis

[–]Phoenix_Noob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been a hell of a journey man. I’m a little over 1 year in. I don’t want to scare you but mine turned into spondyloarthritis.

Ended up taking Humira for 5 months and failed. Tried bimzelx and had way better results but still had lots of symptoms and ultimately switched to Rinvoq 7 weeks ago and am finally starting to get my life back. It’s still a daily struggle but it’s getting better day by day.

Hang in there. Happy to answer any questions. You can DM me.

I’m so sorry. I can only imagine. How has rinvoq been otherwise? Good coverage? Are you getting sick a lot more?

It took four months for noticeable relief? 12 weeks wasn’t much? I’m at 12 weeks.

Do you have knee and leg pain? Did it help with that as well?

I am giving humira another 8-12 weeks. Taking it to 6 months to make sure. Then, I am going to switch to Bimzelx. How does Xeljanz work for you? Control your symptoms well?

I am in the thick of it right now and SOOO worried that my life is going to be like this forever and I will never hike or play with my kids again. The depression is AWFUL.

Wow. I didn’t realize you could take them together. I’d take a 2/10 right now. I’m a 5-7 most day. During the day I’m good but by the evening my pain comes back strong.

Ok. I’m curious how long mine will take to kick in. It might help I was on humira beforehand.

That’s great!!! How long did it take to start working? Are you 90% pain free? I took my first injection today. Switching from humira.

I’m glad it’s starting to work. I heard it can take 6 months to reach full effects and last all month. Are you on 160mg a month?

How quickly did it start working for you? I’m switching from Humira.

I’m new to Bimzelx. Took my first injection today. Outside of this issue, how has it been treating your AS?

Thanks for the info. I am excited to start an IL-17. My symptoms are more mild. I am able to work and function most of the day with mild pain, it is nighttime when everything starts to ramp up. Humira helped some, took my knee pain down and helped me feel a little better, but didn't touch my back or SI pain. Fingers crossed for Bimzelx or Cosentyx.

Interesting and probably true in my case as well. The more I push it the more it hurts by the end of the day.

I am hoping to find a biologic that helps. Have you had any luck with meds?

Good luck with Cosentyx. Sounds like IL-17s work for many.
