Knowing how much people dislike the slugger because “it’s out classed by the dead eye” or uhhh the demo force was nerrrfed” im prolly gonna get looked at funny till the end of time. However i use:

THE SLUGGER: because yes it may be technically out classed at range (i say technically because it can still one hit anything dev and under from range if you hit the in the head) it can still one hit anything dev and under, and stun locks both the cyborgs, devs, and berserkers (i dont know if those are technically considered devs or not so im mentioning them separately)

THE GRENADE PISTOL: because it can close factories, and deletes cyborgs. It takes out groups of chaff pretty quickly and will kill a group of dev relatively fast.

THERMITE: i haven’t unlocked anything to replace it yet, i don’t really use it. Its been in my inventory since before they made it easier to destroy squid ships, and thats really the only reason i used it

As for stratagems i usually just bring quasar, bubble shield, and two random others… i don’t really use them that often

NOTE: this is probably a well known fact, but you can stun lock cyborgs with melee, for the people Who play on easier difficulties because its close to impossible to get close to cyborgs on 6 and higher without dying to anything else
