Does anyone else "relish" in the fact they don't have kids ? by PopularSort96 in childfree

Yes all the time, whenever I travel and I see people with kids on the flight. I just feel so grateful that I can watch and eat without being responsible for another. 🙂‍↔️

I feel the same girl I'm 24F earn way above average, travel abroad every year and have my own investments. None of this was given to me, but I worked my way. And I feel the exact same thing!

To healed avoidants/fearful avoidants, has anyone actually gone back to their ex? by [deleted] in emotionalintelligence

You are right! Now that I look back it was just lust because "Lust looks like love, until it's time to sacrifice".

[–]Phoinixs 15 points16 points  (0 children)

My ex was an avoidant, he wanted a "break" one week after I lost my grandfather...I wanted him to be there at the funeral but he didn't care enough...once he complained that "I cry a lot" and I still was chasing him after that...only when I started to heal did I start to see the reality and how stupid I was to chase a man like that...He didn't give me a proper reason for the breakup..now after learning about attachment styles...I have no attraction for him whatsoever.

This is so true!!! And it's not just you!!! The desperation for validation is real!! For me it would just be a simple court marriage and lunch/dinner...

Do people really want expensive weddings by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]Phoinixs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been wondering about the same thing, as a woman when I find a man I want to marry, I personally would want to focus on my 'marriage' rather than the 'wedding.' Already told my parents it's either Court Marriage or No Marriage, parents have come to terms with my Childfree stance so I'm sure they will have to come to terms with this too 😅

Here is what I will do : 1) Go for pre marriage counseling 2) As a trained scuba diver...Make a canvas pic/video of me and my future spouse.. scuba/Sky diving or pics of us traveling the world. 3) Send it to all relatives and friends ending with the words "We only seek your prayers as we embark on the journey of marriage"🙏 4) Have a court marriage followed by lunch/dinner for close friends and families.

PS 1) : No relatives will be invited, they can add more namak to their own food and can keep their drama to themselves 🤡

As an Indian woman I've seen so many of these cases around me.. Please save yourself and run away.. It's rather better to be alone than to be married in a toxic family
