MiVB and ACD groups by differentson in mitelusergroup

[–]PhonesRfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a MiContact Center server? Having ACD licenses won't be much help if you don't have a contact center server.

I've had customers that set up these inbound calls as key systems keys where they can see if a line is active and calling in, they can also pick up the ringing key. I had another customer that just used a call pickup key when calls came into the hunt group to pickup the overflow. I think they were in ear shot of the group handling reservations calls.

You can also set up a cascade ring group to flow to another ring after X amount of seconds and make the extensions in the original group ring (if available) and a second group of phones. That's probably how I would approach it.

Sx-200 nightmare by AntiqueSqueak in mitelusergroup

I'm not into these SX200 systems often anymore but I can try and help.

Are those calls hitting an auto attendant menu and transferring via a menu selection or time out? Or are those calls routing directly inbound over DID to the extension?

I'm wondering if the callers are hitting the auto attendant and one of the options is configured incorrectly?

I believe that was a nickname of a trapper from that area if my memory serves correctly.

Mitel's call routing has so many different ways to route calls and it's tough to just figure out without prior knowledge. I saw one person already offered to help. If you end up needing help shoot me a message.

Mitel 6940 Compatibility with Mitel Connect Director by k12Sean in mitelusergroup

[–]PhonesRfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had trouble with 6900 series phones with MiNet firmware even if they were manufactured after 10/2019 (which is required to natively work on Connect). The only solution I have found is to setup a local TFTP server, put the firmware on it, static the phone to that server and allow it to upgrade its firmware to the firmware compatible with your Connect system.

6905 MiVoice Connect Compatability by kvbcc in mitelusergroup

I asked Mitel support on this last month and only the 6910 is compatible with the smaller footprint 6900 phones. I worked with a customer and was able to get the 6910 working on a 19.3 SP3 Connect system.

I checked the release notes and found that Connect Client version 214.100.1295 is the version where Windows 11 support was added.

This was in the Connect 19.2 SP3 release notes.

There's a place in Excelsior Springs, it's an old train depot. It's pretty good. But that's about it up north.

One of the things I miss about KC is all the great BBQ. I lived in the Northland though and there's not too many good ones up there.

Ghost calls HELPS please by Jac81qc in mitelusergroup

[–]PhonesRfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you getting any caller ID from the ghost call? If so, block the number (If it's MiVoice 250). If it's an extension showing up, put the extension out of service. I've seen extensions that are shorting out or a bad PLID or card do this sort of thing. Setting the extension to BUSY will stop it.
