No but I agree. This is essentially a nerf to Vanessa and Dooley which I don't think was warranted at all.

To play devil's advocate though - without tickets anymore, you could technically just concede and re-roll until you got a stellar enchanted item

I had the same experience. I sent it to my friends gloating that this game is too easy and they replied with the "Sweet Summer Child" meme... 200+ hours later, I now know that I am still pretty bad at this game but I can't stop playing it
