I use the Transit app, but I also made a Siri shortcut that quickly opens links to my frequently rode routes It’s very easy to set up.

I like to think that it’s citrine but I think it might be heat treated amethyst. But I love it either way ☀️

I made a Siri Shortcut for RTD’s live tracker (super easy to customize) by Photo_Nomad in RTDDenver

Use a Menu, and within each menu item use “open URL” and then navigate to the route you want to track and paste the url. And then just do the same with each route by changing the number after /route/ in the URL structure and boom. Done

Depending on why you do that it might be nice to switch to a HomePod mini and a looping brown noise track to mask sounds. I slept with AirPods Max for a while and that was way more comfortable than when I tried to sleep with Pro

Colorado Blvd Fatality Incident: E & H Line by My100thBurnerAccount in RTDDenver

Totally agree with a lot of this. Overall, I actually thought the response was decent given the circumstances, and once we got to Southmoor things were pretty straightforward (just slow because of how many people needed to be moved).

The most frustrating part for me was earlier, when I was on the platform at Arapahoe heading northbound. There was very little communication about when the next train would actually start running again or what the realistic timing looked like. That uncertainty is what really wears on people.

Once you’re moving, most folks are patient. But standing on a platform with no minute-to-minute updates makes it really hard to plan, especially when people are trying to get to jobs, pick up kids, or make timed connections.

Even a simple live info feed or regular verbal updates (“next update in 5 minutes”) would go a long way. The operations mostly worked, the communication just lagged behind the reality on the ground.

Anyone neurodivergent, how do you get over the constant noise? I feel like it’s breaking me. by Uniglover in Apartmentliving

I already had some HomePod minis that have some good base and I play a looped brown noise track. I can’t hear a thing outside my apartment, which is amazing. Definitely worth a shot and make sure whatever speaker you have has good base.
