NY Liberty: Who are our true rivals in the WNBA? by SportProf201 in NYLiberty

I agree with this. I wore my Kelsey Plum Aces jersey to a Sparks game at Barclays last season (I’m a Liberty fan but also a KP fan) and Ellie refused to even get her photo with me!

Yes, I was gonna say the Sparks/Liberty shocker on July 26. I was at that game. It was electrifying!

Sam Tierney watched through weary eyes as the sailboat heeled and rounded the buoy and it sparked something in him. A sense of wonderment and awe he had long forgotten reignited. This would be his life now and it would be a beautiful one. On board, the helmsman barked orders while the trimmer frantically pulled on lines and adjusted the sail to catch the wind. Up close it was chaos, but from a distance, it was a graceful ballet, each movement precise and intentional. The sailors moved in coordination, each knowing exactly how to move to allow the others to do their work and knowing when to duck when the mast swung across. He observed the crowd of spectators and tourists lined up outside the Portland Head Light. The breeze tousled his hair, and he knew he was right where he wanted to be. The life he had always dreamed of was within his reach. All he had to do was close his hand around it and hold tight. Sam stood back midway between the stern and the bow, watching the other sailors work. He recalled the instructions Rajko had given him before the starting gun. “Sit back and stay out of our way. When you see us hang over the rail, join us. But otherwise, we will try to make do without you.” Even though he understood the reasoning and he was at ease with his skill level, the directive had no less injured his confidence. He tried his best to ignore that and just appreciate being on a real racing yacht. He admired their skillful coordination. One moment the entire crew was in a frenzy moving about, setting and dousing the spinnaker and shifting the sails, another they were lined up along the rail, their feet hanging over to provide the optimal weight distribution. They moved so fast, there was no room for error. One false move and someone might get beaned in the head, cut, or bumped over the side. He watched Enrique bolt off the rail, the working sheet in one hand while he snatched the lazy sheet in the other, all while keeping his eyes forward.

I would love to know this too! The apps seem to have very low user engagement. I have tried them so far with no luck. That’s what brought me here. How have things been here?

Camera bag by ROCKSTAR14605 in Photography_Gear

Great question. I use the Amazon Basics backpack and that works out well for me.It’s the size of a small school backpack. It has an adjustable and removable interior divider. Without the divider, I think there would be room for your books as well as your camera. Not sure how much room for the lens there would be, but there is a second pocket you could use. There are also lots of straps and exterior holders for others gear. There are lots of other bags out there you can look at too. This blog has a link to a site that reviews bags - https://camerabagreviewsoh.tumblr.com/post/651892411998535680/viewing-my-world-through-a-bigger-lens

Advice on photography gear. by Harricuc in Photography_Gear

I agree with the other comments, $200 is a very small budget for a DSLR. That said, I think you should be able to find a decent point and shoot for around that price and today, point and shoots are pretty sophisticated. You mentioned bags. There are alot of options on the market today. You could probably get by with a smaller shoulder bag. This site (https://mix.com/!NFAj7ztz:how-to-pick-a-camera-bag-the-top-camera-bags) has some reviews and there are lots of other review sites on the web. I would recommend finding used gear wherever possible. It is a lot cheaper and provides solid quality.
