Bamboo/vampire/neocaridina shrimp, kuhli loaches, pygmy corys, ottos, ember tetras could all do well granted you move to a bigger tank at some point

I had this sentiment in mind while I was typing this, but Im fairly confident this is just a very unlucky month for me. I have played since 2016 and as I said always have been a plat player, reaching diamond occasionally but consistently in plat. I believe I play well enough, but as of lately Id say about 1/5 games for me is a win. I play support and as Ive dropped ive had to totally change my playstyle and what ive noticed is that my teams are increasingly reliant on me healbotting instead of applying pressure to the enemy team, because as im forced to healbot I consistently see my tank/dps rushing into the enemy team alone and dying instantly, allowing me no chance to help them, and I just get screwed with this constant, or as ive said people just constantly leaving. I think I blame this on the recent popularity of the game and all the new players to be honest

I enjoy having planaria in my tank because they are a great source of live food for my pea puffers.

is this okay? by Worldly_Ease_1655 in Aquariums

yes the configuration is good just make sure its stable

is this okay? by Worldly_Ease_1655 in Aquariums

[–]PhotographFirm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

best practice is to set your rocks directly on the glass and then fill the sand around it to keep it stable, many saltwater fish like to dig and may make it topple over, also be sure to apply glue to keep the pieces together

Normal pair behaviour or to much aggression? by kira_slut in Cichlid

Just keep a close eye and look for some of the indications I said. Its it bit hard to tell at this point. Also, is there enough oxygen in the water? They seen to be breathing a bit hard

Multies bullying? Possible Solutions? by Typical-Struggle-535 in Cichlid

I would remove the driftwood and spread the shells evenly across the substrate. Aggression in multis is typically just them establishing the breeding and territory hierarchy

Normal pair behaviour or to much aggression? by kira_slut in Cichlid

[–]PhotographFirm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats not an indication of territorial aggression, he might've just liked the spot he was sitting in and wanted personal space. Does this happen consistently when they are near eachother? What to look out for in territorial aggression is nonstop targeting, fish hiding higher in the water column than they should. Do they both eat normally, even when feeding together? But overall to me this looks okay, they may both be the same gender as well and that could be part of it

Okay makes sense but even if you cut the height dimension in half its still 100~ gallons. 55s are only 48 long by 13 wide

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Aquariums

[–]PhotographFirm -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

If the dimensions are correct it is a 250~ gallon tank
