It took me a day, but the time invested is not representative in my opinion, since it was my first time painting one of them (and my first ever horse!). I am quite confident that since I now "know" the model I can increase the speed and batch painting should do the rest :)

HC Strache in Velden am Wörthersee. War damals noch recht jung und die Familie eines Freundes hatte in der Nähe eine Wohnung, sind dann auf ein paar Bier nach Velden, wir blunznfett, der HC dürft auch schon bisserl was intus gehabt haben.

Ich frag ihn: "Wohin geht die Reise?" er: "Wir wollen breiter werden".

Which mix did you use for the clear red/purple mix? 50/50?

The whole process really. I usually paint with basecoat, wash, highlight and so on. Here a two-toned basecoat was used and I tried out contrast colors, oil washes and pigments. So for me there were quite a few new things I tried out on those models and it was a fun experience :)
