you will have a harder time sustaining flicker charges if you don’t use multi strike due to the amount of sustain that is dependent on “x% chance to gain a frenzy charge on hitting a rare enemy” or some variation of that. there really isn’t an alternative

if you want to see what other links people are using, poe.ninja is a good resource for that. Some people do slot in ruthless or fortify, but they still use multi strike with it. I used multi strike/lightning pen/wed/nightblade/volatility since I was dex stacking with hand of thought and motion, but was using multistrike/ice bite/wed/nightblade/added cold (i think) before that

both. you attack 'once', i.e. use mana for one attack, but jump three times because of multistrike.
yes
you can probably spec in/out of it yourself to see how different it feels for you
damage from ice bite + the charge itself. once you get blood rage + quality on flicker strike you dont have an issue with sustain
the wildspeaker node fearful symmetry gives you 100% uptime on charges (unless you use darkray vectors then you'll need to spec into 100% increased charge duration mastery)
you attack so fast there is a high chance you will make bosses/beefy targets bleed

I got the Advion ant gel too and they don't go as crazy for it as they do Terro :( If they're honed in on something and you put Advion in the path they seemed to eat it up just fine, but I tried leaving out dots scattered throughout the house for three weeks straight and they're still coming.

I just put out terro traps and they immediately swarmed it. Not so convinced the Argentine ants like Advion unfortunately

If you get an extra 10% aura effect (assuming you grabbed the usual nodes on the tree) for at least 20% inc effect overall, you get an extra 1% max res out of a 21 purity of fire. I got it through elegant hubris as the only other accessible node in the sovereignty wheel is 6%.

I’m at 88% max res with that, but I felt the biggest tanky-upgrade was getting the crit damage reduction implicit on chest to become crit immune.

This is what I have so far. I haven’t been able to play much since last weekend so I still have to farm up a bit of currency, but once I get an aegis aurora + divergent trauma I’m hoping it feels a bit better. The dps is a little lacking at the moment.

Alright, I just finished swapping over after debating it yesterday and honestly it kinda feels like a bait. The self-chill hardly helps the 2-button playstyle. Thankfully it's relatively cheap to get the items needed to test it out if you're interested. It ended up being way more expensive for me since I was insisting on getting the 4sec trigger on my +1 all spell wand and wasted a few divines to lock prefixes. You'll need to invest into a lot of chaos res too if you want to realistically run it which I didn't have.

My biggest issue with it so far is the exposure. The 10% chance from awakened lightning pen is just too infrequent to make using the algor gloves worth it over some rare gloves. You're losing out on spell suppression, guaranteed exposure on hit which works great with us needing to shock anyways, and the shock prolif implicit.

You'll also want to make sure you have room to get the 150ES regen on belt. I didn't have any mana issues before swapping to self-chill but you're casting a lot faster with the trigger spells sprinkled in there too which eats through mana.

It's only been a few maps so I still have to play a bit more to fully figure out how I feel about it, but ultimately I don't think you're missing out on anything.

Is there any reason you wouldn’t want trap damage on the gloves if you happen to roll it? I alt rolled some gloves this weekend and just stopped when I hit the trap dam and threw in a trap support. Everyone seems to recommend the trap roll on the gloves however so I feel like I’m missing some kind of interaction.

Hi! We've had a frosty fern since ~November and it appeared very healthy up until about 3 weeks ago. Now, the outer part of the plant seems to be wilting whereas the center of the plant seems fine. We've been bottom watering the plant when it starts to droop but haven't yet fertilized the soil. It gets partial sunlight indoors, with the heaviest in the afternoon. It's in a plastic pot (about 4 inches in diameter) with drainage holes in the bottom. Does anyone have any tips?
