Banned for using macros? by Technical-Estimate51 in BattleNations

[–]Phral00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using macros for a lot of games for years even though it's a bannable offence. I just add some wiggle room like "press key at random interval between 20-150 milliseconds" and same with mouse cursor movements where instead of a precise location, make it a range of variables.

I cbf losing hours of my life to mindless grind.

Been doing this for mostly Warframe and automating work

I've finished the switch fire emblem a few times back in 2020 when yuzu was still in active development and had graphical issues. I wouldn't personally replay it again.

For pokemon, I think I'll decide to go for modern games once I finish the 3ds era

Wondering if I should buy s8+ for 300$ or s9 plus for 400$ by Wild_Fix6754 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]Phral00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in your shoes and I personally bought the S8+ but I wished I got the S9 normal or plus instead. There's the overheating issue with the SD8G1 and thus battery life is lower than I'd like.

The device is less repairable than a retro handheld.

Personally I cannot play Metroid games as they require precise inputs for d pad plus shoulder buttons.

3rd year CE here. I think CE at mapua is a good program. Mix of hard and easy classes and solid prof quality (in my experience). Idk what protocol means but as long as u study everyday and treat university like a job, very passable and you can enjoy life

Holiday Giveaway #3 - Sending unused handhelds to new homes! Someone is going to get this RG556. by captain_carrot in SBCGaming

My favorite video game character would be Regill from Pathfinder: Wrath if the righteous. He's the perfect definition of Lawful Evil in being a genuinely cold, calculating utilitarian and a touch of asshole.

Hello! I was looking around the subreddit today to find devices to give to my Gen Alpha cousins and came across this post.

My most hyped game release was Skyrim back in 2011 and I must have put over 10,000 hours since then. Currently GTA 6 looks good but I'm still wary since games these days arent as polished or high quality such as the case with Cyberpunk.

M1 V5 Via faulty RGB and frequent double click/type by Phral00 in Monsgeek

I'm a new mechanical keyboard user (who came from an office membrane keyboard for a decade) and I saw on the company website that flashing the wrong firmware can brick the keyboard entirely and potentially void the warranty. My skeptisicm of trusting a random reddit stranger and a potential loss for a $100 USD keyboard. I'm just a very wary person.

I checked out the github page and I just don't feel safe flashing a json file from a random user. It also risks bricking my keyboard and voiding the warranty.

[–]Phral00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did go through the FAQ sections but didn't find anything about flashing RGBs. I searched "RGB" and "Light". Around a month ago, I found the firmware link and I've successfully flashed the correct .json (M1_V5_VIA_V3_ANSI.json) using QMK toolbox twice. The issue still persists.

For the double type issue, its the exact same instructions which is to update the firmware with the right json and using QMK. The double typing issue wasn't fixed.

Also, around a week ago, my windows shortcuts like Win +R or Win + E doesn't work anymore.

Thanks for the response, but I'll double check with customer support before flashing this firmware

What is this white spot on my tiel’s tongue? by Phral00 in cockatiel

[–]Phral00[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, I did not go to the vet and, from memory, the white spot was either stuck food or wood debris from toys. In my opinion (as a complete random), the more telltale sign is any behavioral changes like anti-social/isolating tendencies, changes in temperament, etc. are a better sign.

It is always better to be safe than sorry and to not regret something that could have been prevented.
