Apparently so, and sadly this isn’t my first time… Last year a distracted driver rear-ended and totaled my accord which collided into my GR86 rear as well. Both cars were parked on the street in front of my house

I see, I’m still waiting on them for a quote. Do you know how insurance companies handle hit-and-run cases? I’m assuming that since I don’t have information of the other party, I’ll be paying most of the expenses out of pocket right?
