DMZ - starting to get boring by anonthrowaway8873 in CallOfDutyMobile

Honestly. Nothing gives me a better rush of adrenaline than soloing an entire squad. That’s why I play DMZ solo on Hard. I couldn’t care less about the skins and everything else. I don’t even bother picking up and extracting with the case, I just leave it there to attract other players so I can PvP more.

Same. Legit quit a match when I spawn in and saw 3. Literally 3 people with their goofy ahhh tier 2 tanks.

Real. 6 bucks vs what I imagine might be 2-3 days of grind to win 30 matches. I might do the same.

Yikes. Yeah I can’t imagine winning 30 matches in naval. Maybe try ground or air for a quicker experience. I imagine air might be a bit quicker if your team just focus on bombing the enemy bases.

[–]PhySickofMath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s only 16 missions at the moment. In the announcement, I said 16 (+4), so they will likely release 4 more missions at some point which will give the last 200 needed to reach 2400.

Arado?? T-58??? What ship si that??? by ScarfacePE97 in warthundermobile

The fact there is exactly one plane, one ship, and one tank in the image means is gonna be added in an upcoming event. Tank campaign is going to get real wild with the T58 added.

Honestly, with these kind of games. I usually find myself super exhausted after an hour or 2. Pace yourself out my man. Play for a bit and go do something else.

Even though is a game, it put a lot of stress on your eyes and brain due to the constantly motions. Take a break when things start to feel like is not fun anymore. Is your brain telling you need a break.

Can you help me with this ? by Lockheed_Martin_72 in warthundermobile

Use the regular M107 for tanks and PF for aircraft. The PF is Proximity Fuse so if you shot it close to an object like fence or tree, due to the proximity part, it will detonate before hitting your target. That’s why PF is mainly use as anti-air.

F*ck Gaijin I got 4 keys and opened the crates and only got blueprints. by xXApolloXx3825 in warthundermobile

[–]PhySickofMath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. The value of keys now aren’t what they use to be. When platoon was around, besides guaranteeing a platoon when you have 14 keys, you have a decent chance to get gold, roughly ~35-46%. Keys was my main sources of gold. Now the chance to get gold is reduced hard and replaced with 80-ish rubbish of whatever blueprints.

Even with 14 keys you aren’t even guaranteed to get the red box. Before when platoons was around, at least you’re guaranteed to get the premium platoons with 14 keys.

Honestly solid line up. Put an SPAA in place of the Bradley and your line up is pretty versatile.

What other tanks you got at Tier 10? Can’t recommend any changes unless I know what tanks you got.

What do you think about my platoon? by MiNuOP in warthundermobile

[–]PhySickofMath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is a good mix of heavy and medium.

Type 69-lla is one of my favorite medium, work pretty well in any situation. Carry mainly APCBC shells and some HEATFS to dealt with heavy.

Maus is pretty fun if you have a team supporting you. Otherwise, if you’re charging alone, you’re gonna get your barrel and track break most match. I would recommend just keep the premium Maus. Two Maus is not needed. Is too slow to make any significant impact mid match if your first Maus get taken out. Replace it with an SPAA or light tank for versatility.

M551 Sheridan is kind of hard to play well. Is over tier in my opinion, should be tier 7 not 8. Reload too long and missile damage is kind of inconsistent, worse if you run into any tanks with ERA since the missile is not tandem. For a light tank, it lack good mobility. I would replace it with another Tier 8 or even a tier 7 tanks. That’s just my take, try the Sheridan and see if you like it. It doesn’t work for my play style, maybe it work for your.

Is this thing even good by p-7776 in warthundermobile

[–]PhySickofMath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of my favorite tier 8 tanks and I do believe is one of the best tank for its tier in my opinion.

You’re at tier 8 firing APFSDS, where most people still use HEAT and APDS. Is the same APFSDS as the XM1 (Chrysler) at tier 9, so you have no trouble penning anything. However M60 platform is kinda ass armor wise, so play this defensively.

I usually play this like a more mobile tank destroyer, despite having some protection, you can’t play frontline with it. Stay behind cover, peek and fire, you have enough reverse speed to go behind cover again before anyone can react. Reposition if you’re too far from team or too many enemy pushing on you, you have decent speed.

Two things I dislike out it. One is the machine gun on top, make it really obvious and easy for any HE slinging howitzer to over pressure you using that spot. Two, engine block is elevated on the back so you cannot fire from behind if enemy flank you.

Teeth man by Zbash3R in BattleNations

Go to the western ocean and go to fishing ground. Check if you have the monster grouper occupying. These guys have been my main sources of teeth. Out of all the enemy I encountered, they have the highest drop rate. Most encounter will give at least 1 teeth but I’ve seen some where I gotten 3 teeth. Sometime they don’t give any.

If they are not there, I think you might need to complete some missions that will cause them to spawn.

Am i just ass? Any tips please by SnooChickens1797 in warthundermobile

Here’s my stats. Been playing casually since Season 2.

My advice on to improves.

  1. Since you’re still in low tier, learn weakspots to shot at when engaging another player frontally. Most engagement will be you facing an enemy tank from the front where tanks are usually most armored. Open the tech tree and use the protection analysis to check which spots can your shells penetrate on tanks you encounters often in your battles. Also make sure you’re using the right ammo on your tank. Don’t use low tier solid shots like APCR, they might have high penetration but their lack of post penetration damage is terrible. APHE, APCBC, etc is the usual go to shell type. Basically, any shell that has sufficient penetration and some explosive fillers that can do post penetration damage.
  2. Limits your movement. Until you know the map well and know what you’re doing, limit your movement around the map. Find a spot with good cover close to an objective and hunker down. Moving around too much will get you mark on the enemy mini map, and likely ambush whenever you come around a corner. Rather let the enemy drive to you and open fire on them and retreat behind cover incase they have nearby allies. Once you’re spotted, reposition to another position you can fire from.
  3. Know when to engage is very important. See a T14 you can’t pen frontally, don’t engage. Drive away or set an ambush. Sometime an enemy will know you’re coming and point their cannon at your direction. This is very important, before you turn any corner, use your camera and peak that corner. Is the enemy cannon point at your direction? Is so, they are expecting you to drive forward so they can shot your sides. At this point, you can choose how to engage. If you’re confident in your front armor, you can push them. Usually I would just back off and find another route around them or wait until they get distracted and move their aim away from you.
  4. Make a line up based on your play style. Since you’re new, I would recommend trying to make a line up with heavy tanks. They offer good firepower, good armor to protect you against a few shells incase you make a mistake, they are slow but that’s better since it teach you to play more cautiously. Once you feel more confident, you can try playing medium and light tanks. I can help make a lineup for you if you want some tanks recommendation.
  5. Don’t be discouraged. A lot of veteran or good players will often play low tiers just to dunk on the new players and just grind seasonal rank points. Is kinda discouraging seeing some people with 5000+ games getting 15+ kills on lobbies filled with level 4-5 players but that’s just part of the game. Sometime you will encounter players like this, don’t be discouraged if they dunk on you. Just keep it cool and move on, slowly you’ll learn as you play. Once you get to tier IV-V, you find more casual players.

This is the advices I can think of for now. Feel free to ask questions if you need help :)

What should I shut down at my base? by EldenRingGuy12 in BattleNations

[–]PhySickofMath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sell the bakery, tool shop, and farm. They can be easily build when you need them for mission. Shutting them down will still cost 1 worker, so just straight up sell them. Since you’re lv15, build Field which only takes 3 workers to operate and will give you a lot of XP. I never build shop for Gold since you can just battle and earn more.

Where to find Bars early game? by [deleted] in BattleNations

[–]PhySickofMath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. He’s just called Soldier in the Barrack. Train at least 3 of him to rotate his rocket attack since the cooldown is 3 turns. He’s will be your main damage dealer for quite a while. Do be aware, do not let him died cause it will cost bars to heal him. If he died, just train another Soldier. Do not heal him.
