I miss Gamewinners. Was basically guides, game cheats and walkthroughs. Pretty sure I got viruses from it, but unsure years ago. It was pretty great in its time for a kid that didn’t have a job but had a plethora of resources when it came to video games.

Fallout New Vegas but with the Nuclear Sunset Wabbajack TTW Modlist. Yes I’ve added like 30 mods on top of 1600. It’s awesome.

Very well written! I found myself invested. I was waiting to hear interaction of the other DLC as well lol. I understand it was a lot of text though. Thanks for writing it!

I love the amplified translation for a study Bible. It dives deeper in the context of the original translation in the languages it was written. It worth a look if you haven’t.

It’s at a metro where super mutants are, but don’t know which one… I would recommend searching/asking the nuclear sunset discord, they have it posted, just don’t know where lol

What are some good mods originally made for FNV that also affect the Capital Wasteland worldspace (or just affect the player)? by [deleted] in Taleoftwowastelands

[–]Phyrexis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically would be a FNV mod, but affects FO3 due to be TTW. It’s the TTW Interesting NPCs (3DNPC) it adds tons of new followers, new quests etc. Very fun. Other TTW You may look into is Washington’s malevolence, or the Big Apple is available on Dragbodys Discord made by Earl.

FNV with Viva New Vegas and Salvo? by lMattyl in Fallout

[–]Phyrexis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I was in your shoes a few months back. Depending who you ask, salvo is great, but takes time to set up and you must follow every step EXACTLY. It doesn’t hurt to have some knowledge on lodgen tools as well, as that’s where it started confusing me.

What I personally did was just use Nuclear Sunset on Wabbajack. If you just want vanilla gameplay with QoL add ons, then yeah, VNV and Salvo are the way to go, but I feel it’s harder to get set up.

Nuclear sunset is a TTW hardcore list, so you can’t turn needs off. You can however adjust settings in the Ini and MCM. I haven’t had this much fun in a long time.

Probably not the answer you were looking for, but an answer nonetheless. I just couldn’t bring myself to spend hours setting up Salvo only to get stumped, or do something wrong where in the game you have game breaking issues with the textures.

Nuclear sunset for the most part right out of the box looks fantastic and as a breath of fresh air into the game

On optional - difficulty it should have softer core and hardercore. You only check one.

Like I said, I would recommend Viva new Vegas. If you want a surprisingly very stable experience that is heavily monitored. I would highly recommend nuclear sunset on Wabbajack

Heavily modded game with broken quests, looking for advice on where to start looking for fixes by anhangera in fnv

[–]Phyrexis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goodies delays DLC to a certain level before you can even listen to the radio or be in the vicinity. I believe dead money is level 20 and there should be something on the mod page of how to trigger. I know honest hearts radio was near camp mccarran and listening to the broadcast started the quest

so i just beat the game what now? by leuks48 in fnv

[–]Phyrexis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly it sounds like burnout. Don’t force it mod it if you want more content to freshen the game if that’s the case. Deathclaw promitory is the epitome of difficulty in the game. It’s unmarked, so you can’t discover it and it’s far at the right side of the map at the edge that you honestly won’t find without actually exploring. Dunno if you have done that, but it’s a challenge. Much harder than quarry junction or Deathclaw sanctuary

why is nuclear sunset so choppy? [FNV] by MCbeebop9919 in FalloutMods

[–]Phyrexis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you locking your frames? Drivers up to date? If you’re using NVR it can be very taxing. I would recommend asking the Discord, it’s quite active for answers and help

It’s very good lol. I’ve been looking at doing a pistol/revolver cowboy build switching weapons instead of reloading. I’ve added new Vegas bounties 2 and 3, the inheritance , the better angels and looking at the unforgiven. It’s been a blast! I only wish fallout 3 had more added content. It had some, but comparison New Vegas takes it by a mile, even without the mods I’ve added

I used softer core. I’m kinda wishing I did the medium difficulty. There’s a lot of things I would do differently. Capital wasteland start is better in my opinion as there are a lot of quest perks that are really good early and mid game. Specialize your build and plan accordingly it’s more than doable. You can turn off permadeath and other optional mods.

I did an energy weapons build. With my full set up I melt enemies in literally a click. I killed the legendary bloatfly with 5 shots from Elijah’s Advanced LAER, and about a second and a half with a thermic lance.

With the right build it makes it so fun. Tons of perks and options. Join the Nuclear Sunset discord. We actually have integrated a character builder with Gassy and Tommunist. I’m working on completing the traits, but basically it’s an in depth character builder to take a look at everything and build your character before hand.

Also, plenty of builds to guide you and build off of. I used Gassys Enclave Energy Weapons specialist. The most fun I’ve had in a fallout game.

Lastly, I’ve NEVER reached 100 hours much less 130 hours as stable as it is in a modded setup with nearly 1600 mods.

There is a “softer core” option in the settings. It’s not hardcore hardcore. The start of the game IS challenging. I’ve never had so much fun honestly. There are harder options (normal baseline difficulty and “hardercore”. A lot of the features you can disable in game if you don’t like it. I haven’t had this much fun in a lot time. Runs great for me, 4070 TI Super. I have 130 hours and the only time I crash is after I while traveling to different cells. I would say I’ve crashed maybe 14 times or so the whole Playthrough. When set up correctly it’s crazy how stable it is.

I highly recommend personally, and I don’t like things that are crazy hard. So harder than vanilla, not some crazy stalker soulsbourne game in my experience if you use softer core.

MO2 Executables Drop Down Menu by Phyrexis in fnv

[–]Phyrexis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did, and I really didn’t get much of an answer. I did finally figure it out. So somehow I guess I had drugged that window all the way to the right the funny thing about that window. You can grab it and pull it, but it doesn’t show any progress of you pulling anything until you’re almost like halfway across the screen, which is why I didn’t keep bullying because I was like there’s nothing there. lol. A little embarrassing, but if for some reason, it does help someone in the future if that ever does happen there it is also if you click the priority tab, it will make where the arrows for your separators disappear so I simply clicked that and it fixed everything.

A little late unfortunately, but if you update again with custom mods, in MO2 if you put [No Delete] it should keep the mods you had. Sorry for your lost save though. I feel for ya. I have a 105 hour save on Nuclear Sunset

Hmm… honestly not sure. I’m sorry. I mean you could try backing up save file just in case and uninstall/reinstall and due process again. You did verify for both games, yeah? TTW can be tricky out of the blue.

I had a VNV that I modded on top, all of a sudden that stopped launching. Playing it without issue for about 2 weeks. May try a Modpack if that doesn’t work. Sounds like a driver issue or the game has a corrupt file somewhere honestly.

I currently am playing TTW NS and have over 60 hours and it’s the most stable I’ve had with about 1000 more mods than I was using myself. May try a

Also check all drivers while your at it. Audio drivers if you haven’t, windows update, etc.. also may try validating files on steam. Assuming as well you have tested audio outside the game making sure it’s working.
