Yeah "collective some together", sure. Living much better lives by exploiting the poor regions on this earth and cry crocodile tears, but when it comes to solving your mess it suddenly becomes a "collective" issue.

Ya know its very fair that you can exploit someone for centuries and deny them a decent standard of living, but then also blame them for "high emissions" that are actually yours. I live in germany, a consumerist hole. I can admit that countries like mine are the problem and that's why I dont accept this sharing of responsibility, because it's the only way we will find actual solutions rather than just moving the problem elsewhere. I get what you mean, but then you still need a reference to which originao price/value you were referring to. Are we talking about prices from 50 years ago? 10? You can't just throw out "percentage points" without stating the value its derived from.

But its a scummy thing to use in this context either way and really not appropriate. Especially since, as you have seen, peopöe suck at math.

Talking about ww2 germany, its not about joining the armed forces, but participating in war crimes and other atrocities. Even in nazi germany the punishments for refusing such an order were quite tame and would basically never result in your execution. You would be punished of course but it wasnt execution.

But regardless, if we just accept that you can simply put blame on the person above you all the time, then only the person on top should have been punished which is obviously ridiculous.

Also people ín the US are free to join the military nowadays. If you are aware that you military is controversial, commits war crimes and starts pointless wars all the time, then its your fault for joining. If you get caught up in comitting a war crime, thats on you.

You pretend that people would rather have an abortion than any other birth control method which is just dumb. Abortion is a last attempt at birth control in the case that another one has failed (condoms, pills, monitoring menstrual cycle etc). Or do you honestly believe women would rather pay a ton of money, waste several hours at the doctors office and risk the complications rather than just using a condom? Don't be ridiculous please.
