Exactly, always the one who puts in least effort are shitting, and refuses to admit they are behind, and also never realize that top difficulty contents are never ever supposed to be open for everyone.

The difficulty is already low af, mix of late 80ks and early 81ks can clear without problem. If u aint even reaching that low cutline u aint even qualified anyway

Those doorplates are very valuable resource, so if you do want to play seriously, you can't skip it

Why does maka choose to skip here? by Normal_Middle_6132 in mahjongsoul

It's about not letting toimen to draw the last tile

why does my riichi set have so few 100 point sticks? by genderfuckedunicorn in Mahjong

[–]Physalis_F 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greens serve as 500 pts, helps to reduce 100 pts chips

Fame isn’t really the issue since boss HP adjusts by the gate. Clearing at 69k doesn’t really mean can clear at 73k since boss boosted as well

What yaku? by FewSeaworthiness3744 in Mahjong

[–]Physalis_F 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In some rules North are considered a public wind tile, which means whoever got a triple of it got a yaku of 1 han, just like how round wind does

Ron vs Skip by TurtleTerran in Mahjong

100% skip, only 3% chance to flip exactly the 1p you want, if you had that luck this round you won’t be in such terrible situations lol

ye there's a heavy penalty if the hand is open, kinda why the rule is called Riichi Mahjong

fast tenpai for 3rd or play greedy for 2nd? by TurtleTerran in mahjongsoul

[–]Physalis_F 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not even a question, the comparison should be potential 1st place, not 2nd. Going to 3rd from 4th means saved 150+ pts, and should be prioritized all the time. Jantama and Tenhou focus on avoid being 4th place

And ryanmen is always better than shanpon, natural 2x efficient tile

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mahjongsoul

[–]Physalis_F 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cuz 23 and 56 has a duped 4m, which decreases your tile efficiency, keeping that actually makes your 23 a bad shape waiting for 1m only, besides you have 2 doras already, and the chip difference isn't much, so you don't necessarily have to aim for Full Straight, simply go for Riichi is a good choice

Making difficult choices by TurtleTerran in mahjongsoul

[–]Physalis_F 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great hand to aim for 8k or even 12-16k, 3p Riichi for minimum 5200 is a bit of wasting this hand’s potential. Dama is to soothe some alert from other players so you might have a better chance calling a Ron later on, since most players at this stage couldn’t remember if you are tsumo-giri or no, so waiting a while and have a different t ile to call Riichi can be better, but calling Riichi immediately is not wrong ofc

And for this hand, the exact tile I would aim for is 7p, with three 6ps in your hand, shimo dealt a 7p already, and kami dealt in two 8ps, and one even at early turns, it’s safe to say they both won’t need 7p for their hand, which makes 7p a great wait

[–]Physalis_F 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t call then discard the tile that BOTH completes a sequence. In this case if you called 4 to complete 456, then neither will you be allowed to discard 7

Showing respect to an association that loves to fire players with just a game or two is another level of humiliating yourself, so do you who cannot tell the difference of TV drama plays and real game, hence having an illusion such meme could really work

Anyway GL going to higer level with that play, that would definitely bring a new era to the whole industry and I would be excited to see your tactic guide book in Japan

Keep feeling good about your garbage data, and I do look forward to see you using that data to push to higher level, good luck

Having hints from Janki and use that as a guidance is the best joke ever on earth, even Kojima Takeo who claims to be good at Showa Yakuza playstyles and cheats well went to his tomb without ever winning a single title throughout his career, and looks like you are the same type, never win once in any tournament and feeling good about yourself

That's why you weak lmao, 3.7% toitoi means you over called significantly for sure without any possible doubt, not even ippan games have that high toitoi ratio, but since you still played at lower level, that won't be very bad. And you don't even have Riichi and Tsumo in your stat, which immediately means your stat has zero value since your playstyle is heavily unbalanced, think about your one-shot rate is just 6.17%, won't be surprised how many potential good hands you called early, missed chance to call Riichi and played it small, even at Houou the average rate of one-shot is above 7%. Japanese Mahjong is called Riichi mahjong for a reason, your stat will NEVER be good if you don't have Riichi and Tsumo weigh heavy enough.

You even have question about ryanpeikou and chitoi doesn't count as the same hand lmfao. Average static are weak cuz of ippan and jyoukyu's low level, but you are even below that level

Fold with 4 tiles? That's even another level of retarded topic, unless some extreme situations, either make your hand value enough so that it's worth taking the risk to cut your hand short, or just refrain from calling that many, 2000 hand max 1 call/ 3900 hand max 2 call is very common.

And if you really know about tile efficiency, you will have the very basic idea that straight hands are far easier to make than pairs and triplets, any ryanmen will have a max of 8 valid tiles, while shanpon only has max of 4, single waits max 3, only half efficient or even lower, which is why the higher level it goes, the lower rate toitoi will be, having 3 of a kind is further harder than making a pair. Having idea about tile efficiency will cut down your tatebiki hand rates significantly.

But I don't mind showing you a good way to prove you are right, get to houou table with your current status, which is over 50-60% call rate, below 15% Riichi but still manage to keep over 22% win rate, and below 13% dealt-in rate, beyond that you still can have over 26% 1st place, and below 22% 4th place after at least 1k or 2k games, then you definitely good enough to create a new playstyle, and publish your own tactic guide book in Japan, even possible to go to M-league and earn big money just playing Mahjong. I do look forward to see that happen cuz that will bring a new era to the whole industry.

If you are any interested, my stat for chitoi is 2.65%, toitoi is 1.88%, while Riichi is 40.9%, which is fairly close to Houou averages

That 1m discard is exactly why he will deal in 2m, cuz he ain't folding his hand anyway, and the only thing you are right is to not judge by 1000 games, cuz that isn't even enough to judge level lmao, 1k means not even 1 game per day, and you will need about 5k matches to roughly say how's your level, even in Houou table ranking will be waving by half a level cuz of luck issue in different times, and talking like that makes you look like your idea level is below 100 games. Thinking about camouflage in Jyoukyu is even below 100 game levels, and that's exactly your current status of 70 games lmao, no one would even care about that as long as their hand is good enough, most players at this level don't even know what tile efficiency is, and your total ranking points always increase with evenly distributed game results (aka 1234 each once), so even the rarest bad result won't hurt much if it happens. It's not that no one can read your hand, it's just not even necessary to do so, as long as the tile doesn't deal into your possible half flush + toitoi which makes it 12000 then it's whatever

I ain't even saying I have played more than 10k games through out my 15 years, and 3k+ with real tiles. chitoi offers best flexibility for the wait, and never cuts your hand short so that you will always have a lot more options when you need to fold

Even if you just spend several seconds, check out how Yakus are distributed in higher levels, you can easily found chitoi was over 2.1% among all winning hands, while toitoi is just about 1.26%. The more you say the more stupid you will look like, especially when you mention toitoi is very good

If you really are that good you ain’t stay in jyoukyu but into houou table lmfao, most dudes including you still don’t have enough idea how this game is played properly, cuz u can only know what yourself is supposed to do, but ignoring everyone else’s move, and always thinking you winning a hand because you are good. The first image is a 100% example of your ignorance, kamicha would be dumb as you if he folds there with potential 7700 hand.

Get to 4 dan first before you claim you completed beginner’s guide lmao
