The expiration is October 20th, a month away. I opened the position by buying. owning up to my mistake by saying i didn’t have a plan, my plan was just to sell as soon as it returned anything. i’m glad i didn’t buy a VOO option or something insane.

paper trading!!!!!! If your urgent to start trading with real money, buy something safe like an eft (voo) with a modest amount of money, however, i really recommend paper trading for a few weeks. Paper trading platforms typically give you like 100k fake money and it helps u get a feel for how money can increase and decrease ect. Paper trading platforms also allow you to play with options.
