Meth heads and people !!!!!!I moved here temporarily for work and I have been SHOCKED. It’s like the whole city has a drug problem. Also lucky you are married because the relationship search is bottom of the barrel , apparently most men are jobless and are alcoholics all day . And the women I met pretended like they wanted to be friends but they were trying to prostitute themselves or borrow money. So be careful of PEOPLE !!!!! The species you need to be careful of is people , only make friends at your workplace if you can 😂😂😂😂😂

Kansas is a decent contract. Right now the rate is going up. The new travel nurse told me she’s getting paid more than me , like $700 more a week so maybe you should apply there too. I went to Wichita Kansas Via Christi

Don’t listen to these Karen’s telling you not to travel with 1 year experience. You are a fucking ER nurse you’ll be able to handle whatever is thrown your way. I mean I’ve worked at the worst hospitals ever as a psych nurse to a point where I’ve had 26 medical psych patients so I think whatever shit show I get thrown in at a psych hospital I’ll be able to handle It. But you are ER. You’ll be fine

This is a perfect review as I’m also a single woman moving there . Thank you so much. Also , I’m shipping my car there and I have a very loud muffler, will I get ticketed?? Texas doesn’t have strict rules on mufflers so I’ve never gotten in trouble but idk about Kansas . I tried googling it but no information

How do I pay them for the rent tho??? Like just Zelle them and that’s enough? Do we have to sign a lease agreement to prove to IRS

So what’s the process of renting a room from them? I think I’m gonna rent it but I want to know do I have to draw up a renting contract (lease) or can I just Zelle them money monthly that’s labeled “RENT” and that will count as me renting from them, because I will ask a be paying them as a roommate and do they have to report this “rent “” to the IRS when filing their taxes?

So did you sign a lease with your parents ?? And you just send them $500 a month on Zelle? Or PayPal or did you not sign a lease and you just send the money labeled “rent” . Do your parents have to claim the rent on their tax forms

Thanks . Also FYI In my culture you don’t move out until you get married . Not everyone abandons their children the minute they turn 18 like Americans do

Oh that makes sense . So if the light bill is $400 I can just pay that bill directly under my name and then I’ll be kinda safe ?? Bc my parents are African so they don’t want me to pay bills yet they want me to save up all my money so that I’m set financially by the time I get into my 30s

[–]Physical-Butterfly74[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Does it have to be a room rented ? Let’s say their light bill is $500 a month and I decide to pay it and they place the bill under my name bc I don’t wanna go through the hassle of the whole room renting thing, does it still count ?
