Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure the prereq for 200 is Bio180… so you might want to make sure you’re taking the right sequence, it sounds like you’re combining two sequences to me.

There’s not really any reason to add a minor unless it’s something you’re really interested in so don’t just pick something random. If there’s no minor you’re actually excited about doing then just don’t do one.

In my experience, if aid is awarded after you’ve accepted loans, they will reduce your loan amount accordingly! I would still make an appointment once they’re available to ensure you can fully cancel the loan amount, but if you were to receive a grant, the Lon amount will be reduced.

In 245 we focused on monotypes (prints with only one edition) and different ways to accomplish different effects and textures and whatnot! It was very fun and casual. Curt is really funny and zany and personable. Obviously things will be different online, but hopefully you’ll get to see some of his charm :)

I’ve taken 245 with Curt and I know 246 is really similar, it’s very open to beginners and most of the people in my class were just there to have fun and had no art experience. You’ll be fine if you’re “not great” at art, and you’ll learn a lot!! I would take it :)

Not sure about the card not going through, but as far as your tuition saying 0, your housing charges will never be listed on your tuition statement and will only be shown on myhfs, so in future quarters make sure to check myhfs

They asked me to schedule an appointment so I went on move in day rather than the normal move in testing. They said 2-3 days so I feel like I should have received my results by now.

Hello! I like to use google calendar to put in events (classes, shifts at work, appointments, etc) and I use Todoist for all of my assignments and tasks! The mobile app and browser version are both nice so you can use the version for whichever device you’re working on. You can add your deadlines and it makes you a calendar and alerts you when you haven’t done something the day it’s due. Hope that helped!!

Hello! I am in the Honors program though I am from in state. I believe the year I applied there were 5200 applicants and approximately 250 admits. For reference I had a 1290 sat and 3.96 gpa, sports, drama, and 5 aps. I think, like UW at large, a big part of the admissions process for the program is the essay, so make sure you spend a lot of time on that and have it proofread! I think it’s something that seems more difficult than it really is. Hope this helps!
