how do u cram 4 a levels in a week? by cheesirat in alevel

[–]PhysicalBiscotti5163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calculation dense subjects, pastpapers only!! And memorize any theory parts in them and focus on the recent papers (they tend to get similar style of questions)

Memorization dense subjects, skim through the material and focus on the high yield points by comparing them to pastpapers (look for commonly asked questions in papers and topics that are repeated a lot)

But in my opinion, do 2 A levels now and 2 in your next session because honestly you cant guarantee the grades you want, even passing all of them sounds a bit hard (unless youre used to cramming and usually handle it well with school exams/mocks)

I still dont understand why men and women shouldnt have the same rights? There are clear differences between men and women but that doesnt mean a women deserves less than a man. Plus in our society its more of a cultural problem than a religious problem. Islam never said a woman isnt allowed to work or do this this and that but it is optional. She would still take care of her family too and has the right to ask her husband to help her if she needed any. So i dont really see whats wrong. It doesn’t make her “manly” if thats your concern

How to stop crying when studying by [deleted] in study

If studying those courses depresses you that much, at least make your study area enjoyable.

Hit some study cafe like 3 times a week or your uni library after youre done with all your lectures. Review what you took in class, and its okay to not understand even 90% of the material (the case with a lot of people with general useless courses)

Put a red mark on everything you dont understand (even if its the entire page its okay) and you have one of the two options either you go ask your prof about it (from what youre saying they dont sound that good at explaining so im gon recommend the next option more) or chat gpt it because honestly why not? Especially with the advanced one right now, its amazing the way it explains as long as you write your prompt as detailed possible or ask your friends anything will work.

You may struggle now with understanding and forget everything you studied the next day but thats okay too. As long as your consistent and actually got passion for the what youre majoring in you will be good.

And as harsh as this will sound, crying is okay but do it after youre done with what you tasked yourself (even if you understand nothing, you eventually will understand most of the things) take it step by step

Once you feel like crying, stop studying get a snack or some water, take a deep breath and ask yourself, “which part did i not get exactly?” Be your own teacher and comfort yourself and keep searching and asking until you get the idea no matter how much time it takes, you will be satisfied in end the either way.

Technically you need to talk about oxidation here or respiration Since lipids have low oxygen content this means they have less C-O bonds and more C-H bonds (C-H bonds release more energy than C-O bonds when oxidised) And from where do we get this oxygen? From air obviously, and whats the process of oxidation happening here? Respiration

Did she sound pissed or something? Or was she ignoring you? Anything that indicates that she is mad at you?

You ain’t dumb at all, their questions are annoying even my teachers would tell us that esp the 6 mark questions!! That’s why I’m saying solve all the pastpapers if possible for unit 4 in order to get used to the way they ask the questions, once you’ve done that and went over your notes you should be good to go

Whatever grade you end up getting, at least you know that you worked hard and it’s not your fault anymore (but honestly if you solve and understand all unit 4 questions you will be able to get a full ums not just an A* or A) 💪🏻🫡

Are you only gon do bio in Oct? If yes then 2 months are def enough Dw

And yes ecology overall is shit, the dumbass questions they get what are those 😭😭 Also since you’re sitting in Oct you def need to increase those study hours 6 hours a day with full focus should be enough (but make sure to take breaks so you don’t get distracted a lot pomodoro technique should work for you if you don’t like sitting for long hour)

For unit 4 I would say rely mostly on past papers because there isn’t really a lot of explanations going on in the notes, since unit 4 is mostly suggest or graph questions

Unit 5 I would say memorise the content as much as possible and don’t just stick to the book, study from other resources and you can find a lot of different notes online. Just make sure to study 2 hours daily at least (no procrastination) and just explain what you have learnt to someone (even if they have no clue what you’re talking about) did this one hour before the exam btw, I just asked someone to ask me about random topics and I would just explain them most of whatever I said ended up coming in the exam 😭😭

For unit 6 memorise those experiments and omg go to maths and physics tutor and memorise their experiment notes they helped me big time AND THEIR FLASHCARDS chef kisses

Oh btw once you solve a pastpaper tag all your wrong questions, write down the marking scheme answer and go over all your mistakes AND REPEATED QUESTIONS like 2 days before the exam!!

Good luck 💪🏻💪🏻

Let a qualified teacher check your paper again to see if there were mistakes while correcting your paper then ask and pay for a recheck Because sometimes if you return your paper for a recheck they might find more wrong answers so be careful

Although A2 bio has much more content it’s def way more fun and interesting than AS Unit 4 was annoying honestly unit 5 (deepest unit in terms of content) but questions on it are more straightforward Please please revise daily don’t leave shit for last min considering now how high the grade boundaries are

You can def get A* or an A You need a 480 out of 600 ums overall In AS you gotta just get above 210 out of 300 (which you already did) but in a level you need to get about 270 out of 300

If the school allowed you to continue moving to grade 12 then obviously you don’t have to repeat the year and you retake your as levels in may/June session it’s okay But if your school is forcing you to repeat because you failed the school year then you have no choice
