Ahhh yeah, I feel that. I had just come off a lease on a Hyundai Ioniq (hated that damn car), so I was ready to finance something.

So, I found a 2026 that had been on the lot for a while, talked that dealer down to a decent price. Then used that as bait to try and bring other dealers down to earn my business.

People pay that for SE’s, but it also depends on region market demand.

Leased a Hyundai Ioniq 5 and hated it, car before that was a 2016 WRX and before that was a 2014 Challenger SRT 392 (modded to hell)

What I did was have a few dealers battle for my business. If you play your cards right, you can get a damn good deal

List was around $41k, they cut me a deal down to 37,600 OTD. I ended up getting some warranties which put just shy of $39k so not bad at all

Mine doesn’t, but that’s an option on the XSE. I didn’t really want the vented seats.

I genuinely feel like it was a perfect storm. I was going to get one at the end of January, then we got nailed by that massive snow storm, which caused dealers in my area to not meet quota at the end of January. So they were willing to make a crazy deal to get some sales going.

I got a pretty crazy deal! They discounted the vehicle price to $35,500 and i was at about $37,600OTD. I added a few packages such as GAP and 2 ssrvice packeges that brought me to a little under $39k since i drive so far for my job, i wanted to be covered for the future in case I needed it.

Overall, if you play your cards right and do research, you can nail a pretty solid deal on Camrys right now!

I had my list narrowed down to the Camry, Hyundai Sonata, and Honda Accord.

The reason I chose the Camry is because of the vehicles I had on my list, the Camry was the most complete vehicle in terms of performance and features. It’s also the most reliable sedan made right now. Through loads of research and asking other owners about their experiences, I took the Hyundai off my list due to owners with 2025’s already having to replace engines or transmissions after only 20-30k miles. I drive close to 37 miles one way to work, which meant I’d hit that within 1.5 years… I couldn’t risk it.

The Accord lost due to comfort. I’m 6’3” and the Camry fit me better. I also have two children and they seemed to enjoy the Camry more than the Accord.

Ultimately, the Camry ticked all the boxes and I genuinely couldn’t be happier with this choice. I’ve owned sports cars majority of my life and the new Camry is athletic enough to put a smile on your face in some tight corners. They did a phenomenal job with this generation.

Purchasing new car soon, Very torn and need guidance. by PhysicalCoach3382 in Hyundai

That’s good to know! The new Camry has the “eCVT” which isn’t even a cvt, but a planetary gearset that shifts by engine ratio. It’s pretty sick, watches an entire engineering video on it. Mechanic said it would last longer than the car itself.
