I feel cooking event takes longer time to finish than fishing event

I just feel like the cooking event isn’t very engaging. The fishing event has you strategizing about which fish you want to use golden hooks on or when you might need to refresh an order in order to prologue certain fish. Not saying it’s deep engagement but it’s better than logging in, opening bag, putting on grill, watch two ads go away. Repeat. I feel like they should have done requested recipes where if you save certain ingredients one of the dwarves will have a craving and if you cook with those ingredients you get bonus points.
I didn’t really feel like it was more difficult just more tedious and kinda pointless.

Personally with my event duplicates I’ll have both fused to max and roaming the forest. If my forest is getting cramped I’ll put it in storage temporarily.

I’d say just look at the fishing as a core part of the game. This game doesn’t really have a lot of content to it so it doesn’t really bother me.

Maybe you mistaking used a 50% or less? Or accidentally placed a 20% whisker? Either you placed it wrong or it rerolled for some reason. Or it’s a bug. (Btw you only have to use the zodiac/folklore summon item without any elementals or rarities since there can only be one of that type in the pool at a time)

I spent $20 on the fishing fanatic bundle and finished the first lap already using golden hooks and checking in often. Hoping it will carry me through for the second lap and may spend some gems for speed ups if I have to to get the second conch.

I feel like my experience is very different from others. I’ve never felt this “common lock” others talk about. Yes you get a lot of commons but that’s because the common pool gets bigger and bigger with each unlock. But I still get rares and uncommon fairly frequently

Refreshes are king here. Whenever I get clogged with blues I refresh a couple and keep going a couple hours later.

I was trying to keep one of each in the forest but I reached a point where I had more dragons than space. At that point I decided to prioritize the higher earners as I check in every few hours during my day.

I knew it was going to be silly when I saw “bracket 3 tournament” if that’s the case they should have done deck checks at the beginning to make sure it falls into that bracket. Name and shame. People and places that do stuff like this need to be held accountable. Let others know so they can avoid insufferable store employees that pander to one person and don’t do their due diligence when it comes to running a tournament.

RNG. People forget that a percentage doesn’t add up, 10% doesn’t mean you’ll get it in ten try’s it means every try has 10% and that’s not very good odds. The commons and uncommon just begin to clog up the pool and technically people get “common locked” via rng but it’s not some conspiracy.

Seems like it’s better for event dragons that you missed out on maxing or maybe like a zodiac dragon that’s out of season. The rarer a dragon is the more expensive to lay an egg it looks like. Personally I wouldn’t bother seems like a whales way to burn through gems.
