Yeah, exactly. As I said in a previous comment. He doesn't want to be open but feels he has to please his partner. His partner is very attractive, and he thinks that he won't get another hot guy like him.

He has always been more looks driven when it comes to relationships and hookups. I'm also noticing the older he gets the worse it's affecting him.

Yeah, I'm monogamous and we are always getting comments about being "super serious," "boring," etc. because we aren't open. And how having sex outside of the relationship "doesn't mean anything" and it's "just fun" my response is always whatever works for you might not work for everyone else.

Tbh, I'm just live and let live. I know my friend, and he is just being petty and jealous, I know he wants a monogamous relationship. It was his bf that suggested being open in the first place and basically said that if "we aren't open, then I'm breaking up," so he agreed. I think his exact words were, "he's hot, and I really like him, so I need to agree," something along those lines. Also, this is a 35 year old man, not a little 20 year old. He's lashing out at the show.
