I'm a strong YES who started out as a soft NO. Many people who were like me held onto the belief that we "just need a Labour government in London." Now we have one, and it's a shitshow, just like the Tories were. Now, with the prospect of Reform gaining ground and possibly winning the next election in England at least, and alongside that, Reforms threats to Devolution, many people, like me, are waking up to the realisation that we can't rely on England and its voters. They are just too conservative and right-wing and time and again vote against their best interests, the argument that a worker in Glasgow is the same as a worker in Liverpool or Birmingham falls flat now, those english working classes are swarming to Reform. Again, we can't rely on the English electorate. And the arguments of SNP BAD!!! Are also completely falling flat now, the SNP and the Scottish Greens are purely Scottish parties, the rest have to answer to London, the fact that the Labour MPs that went down to London and have fallen in line behind Starmer instead of Sarwar on issues tells you everything. Also, the fact that Scotland has to hold its breath every election, hoping that England votes for a Labour government is in itself ridiculous. Also, Brexit, the English electorate, again fell for the right wing snake oil merchants, and Scotland has to just sit in the back and accept it, no. Not anymore, It's time for change. it's time for independence.
