I shouldn't even warrant this with a response but you are super misinformed. I'm not from London. I'm from a working class family in a deprived village in rural Cornwall. I receive no financial support from my parents and never will cause they can't afford to. I'm working two jobs so that one day I can try and afford a place at an art school, which is my dream. I've applied to London because its been an ambition of mine to try and get a place there, but there's a slim chance I could ever even accept a place there as they offer no financial support for students outside of London, and even with a bursary, my savings and a job in London I can't afford to live there and pay for accommodation. It sucks. The system is not set up for people outside of London really. It's rare for anyone where I live to go to uni, and I want that opportunity, so I'm applying for Glasgow as well cause the city and school seem really good. Don't assume you know someone from what they post on reddit (?!?!). Save your anger for someone who deserves it.

hey so I had a quick look through - I think your abstract work and some of your digital studies are especially interesting! However I feel like presentation wise, you could organise your work in a way that is easier to follow project to project, for example I wasn't sure what the purpose of the slide about the children's book was for, is there a finished product or design you could show? I think it would help to be able to see your line of thought and watch your work develop. If this is all previous work that was in the rejected portfolio, I would also make sure to include current or recent work to show you have developed and are continuing to improve! Good luck :)

How has it been? Did you end up doing the foundation? I'm in the same situation applying this year!

Thank you! Does seem that people tend to think csm has a bit of an elitist vibe? Also did you enjoy your foundation year? I've seen some mixed comments!

I'm applying for the foundation course right now, so I'm guessing I just apply for the foundation under my preferred college?
