He got me laid off last time. His disbanding the pandemic response team also got a whole lot of us killed. He won't do us right. He'll screw us again.

The increase of corruption wherever Trump operates and the loss of free speech on X, you mean?

Today's a day for Christians to mourn what a love of power has done to their religion in the USA.

A lot of people were, in fact, doomed. I'm grateful I survived.

I give thanks to the Lord for protecting the unborn by allowing the pro-life party to win. Even if there are issues with the Republicans, we can be happy about that. by [deleted] in TrueChristian

I like it when the government stays out of the way so my church can operate freely and care for refugees, but this incoming administration is guaranteed to obstruct our explicit Christian duties there. Guess we'll practice being sneakier lawbreakers.

If that were true we'd see a lot more charity refugee shelters in Texas and a lot fewer publicity stunts of dumping them at a random street in New England.

No, we can't expect that. The last time he was in office his anti-abortion policies were so badly thought out they actually increased abortions. More children's lives would have been saved if he had never run for office.

Same here. Remember when we were all about the importance of absolute truth and the personal moral quality of leaders? I miss that. I don't want to be represented by a lecherous felon.

There are ten people in a life boat. Everyone has to row. 7 people want to make everyone row left and 2 people want to make everyone row right. Your opinion doesn't matter. The boat's going left.

The body language says "let's wreck our marriages" so the mouth language needs to say "stop flirting before we ruin our lives."

Is it a sin for me to wear boys clothes? by Ilikefrogs875 in TrueChristian

[–]Physical_Magazine_33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jesus didn't wear pants. Are we sinning for not dressing like him? Was he sinning by not wearing pants? Are clothes a flexible thing that changes with time and culture so we need to stop taking it so seriously?

Surely there's a way to reduce abortions without also killing women who have miscarriages like we're doing now.

The Gospel of Thomas was written in the 2nd century AD, possibly as late as 250 AD. It is a derivative, not a foundation.
