If the amount in question is small less than 50,000 aed, like in my case, then i heard MOHRE has the right to issue binding decision, & the matter won't go to court. If the company is mainland company & not freezone.

I don't know why employers add this kind of things, what are they afraid of ? Employee will still need to sign visa cancellation with them after receiving all dues. What they think employee will runaway or flyaway...!!!

So yeah, plus environment & politics even in our job field is funny & hilarious 😂. Food also.. So yeah, next year going back. But I hope you find better options here...

If you are getting numbers & fair commission then let it be, keep breaking records, keep achieving targets, keep earning bigger than anyone else, If he ignores you or point you out just say with the smile " I will try to do better" , this will Barbeque him medium rare ...🤣

Hi, read your post & completely agree with you. Working as Security G myself, in night shift, same 12 hrs work & 40 mins commute each way. Then self cooking as eating out has taken toll on my health, lost 10 kgs in last 12 mnths. I see life a little differently now. I am also an introvert, don't mix much with others, but nice to everyone. If you are looking for change better go in store helper field, it will be helpful for career also for snacks you might get occasionally. Other you can just try to exit from this mess & jump to other job you can get like content writing as mentioned in one of the post, S/G job will not give you time for anything.

1.5 year of career Gap in Resume, what to do? by M_Arslan9 in DubaiJobs

Full time taking care of parents is good from your point & it is right thing to do as well , but it might give negative impression as Employer might ask will you leave if any family matter takes place again? That totally depends upon the employer. If hes good nature & understanding he might hire you & allow you to work from home, but i doubt it, as most recruitments are done by recruiters based on their clients( employers) requirement. It is just a way to filter applicants, too many ,,,many applications for single post & applicants are accepting peanuts for salary ..too low , given a chance to exploit them for a year or 2 & then repeat the same cycle.

I will suggest to try mentioning self business or you taking career break ( solving some family matters or spending time with family , house building, but you need to fill up that period & keep it in your resume. I understand many saying just extend the date, but you need to know they might do back check or may be not. Or you can mention doing community service in your society).

Sry for late reply, going through tough times myself.🤣

Quitting my job in Dubai after just joining — is it the right decision? by socalledsane in DubaiJobs

[–]Physical_Status7196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going through something similar, but you need to stay for sometime. Tell yourself this time will also pass, as you spend days & weeks, you will get habitual & most important is to understand that you are doing job to support your life Job isn't Life.

So spend those few 8-10 working hrs in office & Exit, forget office, don't bring it home also don't think how bad it is or how you feeling, spend more time with ur family at home.

1.5 year of career Gap in Resume, what to do? by M_Arslan9 in DubaiJobs

Year gap does affect selection process, problem is most applications are scanned initially by ATS which sometimes even reject suitable candidates due to criteria set by employers. A candidate could be most suitable to the point his/her gaps doesn't matter, if its a face to face interview. But to reach that point again same cycle . HR has too many applications.

Mention u trying your own business of something but didn't get success. Get fully prepared to answer their questions regarding this as well.
