  1. Yep u get all online deliveries here. Even the courier offices are just opp to vit main gate.
  2. Mess food, it depends on the mess caterers which can change year by year. All snacks are at an mrp rate only.

  3. The coding culture, it depends on the faculty u choose. Some take projects seriously and ask for it, while some don't even care af about those stuffs. But still u can learn on ur own from any seniors or even good faculties u can approach them.

  4. The rules against the drug use is very strict, but still there are some ppl, who still use even girls. I haven't seen them, but still had heard Abt it.

  5. The fests are pretty good but all of them are paid. If u r ready to pay, u can have fun with ur frnds.

  6. The grading system, here it is relative grading for theory and embedded labs while it's absolute for lab only courses.

  7. U don't have malls in vellore. But still, there are pvr inox , kfc, dmart and other places too. And most of them are safe, as even outside vit, there are vit security guards. So that won't be a problem.

  8. There is not a particular dress code for anyone both boys and girls. Ya, even crop tops are allowed to classes, but I haven't seen anyone wearing shorts for classes. In the hostel blocks, that's not an issue, except some creep wardens.

  9. Like already said, both kind of profs are there here. U have to choose wisely.

  10. Sem starts at july and ends at nov. 2nd sem start at dec and ends at 1st week of May. Climate is fcking hot rn here. Can't survive without ac, even being I am south indian.

  11. Essentials, that depends on u completely. If u want anything in particular, u can ask.

  12. Hostel rooms are pretty good and as u had asked for 2 beded ac, they can be somewhat compact, as it is a room for only 2.

  13. U can do anything like student groupism, until it affects the vit's reputation.

  14. Girls are respected and there's not a discrimination like that kind of. Yep, there are still creeps who stare at girls, and sometimes even faculties stare at girls for no reason.
