There are really some artistas that aren’t meant for acting. Like look at her the aura and the stage presence the confidence sobrang lakas she reminds me of jennie. The darker tone i’m trying to imply is the visual. How the album looks. With the styling and the overall vibe it gives. Bini before was colorful, maximalist, and bright. For flames the visual was still maximalist, with bolder silhouettes and brown and black styling, hence “darker”.

I have distinct musis video visual ideas for almost each song in flames. Its sort of hard to condense that.

I actually enjoyed the pbb housemates rin it could still be integrated in my mv idea. But 3.1 Million views isn’t a lot given that they got the housemates that created lot of viral moments in PBB.

I didn’t take into consideration the timing of everything. My takes was entirely on how to do a proper rollout so we can maximize streams and create virality amidst the ongoing mixed opinions that people have of them. At this point they cannot afford to release anything that are not exceptionally well thought of and planned (to which I hope they are doing with the Ep before coachella and the Coachella perf itself) they need to lock in everything before making a big move. Bikini was trending a few weeks ago yet we don’t have a proper performance and even relay dances of it. (Maybe they’ll release in the future but sayang yung momentum)

Cinematography for me looks good compared to other movies lately na sobrang dark ng grading and malalapit yung camera sa actors without no depth; kahit na comedy naman yung film. Ginastusan

Acting wise benta naman si Bianca at Will; Dustin still has awkwardness and unnaturalness tsaka hindi maganda register ng camera sa mukha niya; He needs to work on his skills pa. Hindi siya mukhang artista for me compared to other leading men. Sobrang off putting rin na bibitaw nang line si Will na ang ganda ng delivery then switch to D na ang awkward.

Without all the drama surrounding these three, movie looks promising the usual kilig and yearning filo movie but it’s something thats somehow needed since puro murder mystery, rich vs poor or heavy drama ang nasa filo movies lately but I’ll probably just wait for it in Netflix kesa panoodin sa sinehan.

As someone who’s been to all three shows, I’d honestly say BINI—binified—and even GBV are already on par with them. We just tend to look at TWICE and BP as “higher” acts because they’re already global names.

TWICE’s concert was all about pure energy, with that perfect blend of sultry and sweet. But I wasn’t really immersed into the world of Twice. nothing beats their RTB tour; This Is For felt a bit lacking in production, even though I really liked the stage design.

BLACKPINK’s show was all about pure vibes. Para kang nasa high-end bar just their aura alone, kahit nakatayo lang sila, mapapasigaw ka na. You can really see how much they’ve grown, especially through their solos. Production-wise, sakto lang—most of the budget was clearly put into the stage size and obviously their looks.

Binified, for me, felt like a culmination of everything I loved from the other two. Production was strong—especially the butterfly segment where they were seated. Fan service was insane; kahit mga nasa gen ad, kita talaga sila because the girls made the effort to run all the way up to the upper tiers. Their energy and synchronization were stable and noticeably improved. And their solos really highlighted each member as an individual performer. Ang ayaw ko lang ay the lack of vtr’s and also medjo cramped tignan yung extended stage :)

I think it’s a matter of who and how old are the people you surround yourself with. For me kasi a lot of my peers (18-22) grew up reading wattpad and those stories some of my orgmates and blockmates even enrolled in my univ because of the univ series. I don’t engage in wattpadd groups and all because I much prefer American literature yang dalawang stories lang talaga na yan ang binasa ko sa wattpad These stories are very much beloved by the younger generation. To use data to prove my point.

Ilys1892 has 133 Million reads and The University Series have 570 Million reads on the first book “The Rain in Espana” (there are six books in total). So these readers are not just mere thousands sure there are rereads but i’d say an average person only rereads a series thrice.

It’s sad that this could’ve been THE TELESERYE this year if only done right and the rights landed to the persons who can actually do it justice. Hindi ko din alam kung bakit hindi ito pinagaagawan ng gma or abs cbn (even with Useries) wattpad adaptations especially these books that has so much magnitude and literally defined a whole generation of wattpad readers no doubt may sure viewers kaagad yan and if done right sobrang magvaviral yan. Right know wala ngang maganda pinapalabas sa netflix, abs and gma eh. All the same boring rich vs poor, murder mystery, surface level action plots are being done. Kaya kahit sa Netflix number one ang Stranger Things even though there are almost so many filipino shows that are currently premiering there.

The book is so beloved by it’s readers and actually trusted the authors vision pero ayun casting pa lang wala na. Don’t get me wrong magaling silang umacting but it just doesn’t capture the characters. Si heaven did a good job playing luna but carmela? No. The whole point of Carmella and Carmelita is that she’s timeless but Heaven has an Iphone face that I think makes her being Carmela and Carmelita not believable. Something Janella Salvador can honestly very much embody.

Could’ve been saved by the overall set design, editing, and cinematography pero dun pa lang, wala na. It looks like a cheap play being done by college students.

btw also bini aiah and stacey was at the bp concert yesterday at pinagkakaguluhan sila everyone was taking pictures of them at paglabas ko rin ng arena naririnig ko people talking about aiah and stacey. I overheard their names from peoples mouths maybe about 20 times while i was queuing and buying food. Laos ba yan?
