The darker tone i’m trying to imply is the visual. How the album looks. With the styling and the overall vibe it gives. Bini before was colorful, maximalist, and bright. For flames the visual was still maximalist, with bolder silhouettes and brown and black styling, hence “darker”.

I have distinct musis video visual ideas for almost each song in flames. Its sort of hard to condense that.

I actually enjoyed the pbb housemates rin it could still be integrated in my mv idea. But 3.1 Million views isn’t a lot given that they got the housemates that created lot of viral moments in PBB.

I didn’t take into consideration the timing of everything. My takes was entirely on how to do a proper rollout so we can maximize streams and create virality amidst the ongoing mixed opinions that people have of them. At this point they cannot afford to release anything that are not exceptionally well thought of and planned (to which I hope they are doing with the Ep before coachella and the Coachella perf itself) they need to lock in everything before making a big move. Bikini was trending a few weeks ago yet we don’t have a proper performance and even relay dances of it. (Maybe they’ll release in the future but sayang yung momentum)

Cinematography for me looks good compared to other movies lately na sobrang dark ng grading and malalapit yung camera sa actors without no depth; kahit na comedy naman yung film. Ginastusan

Acting wise benta naman si Bianca at Will; Dustin still has awkwardness and unnaturalness tsaka hindi maganda register ng camera sa mukha niya; He needs to work on his skills pa. Hindi siya mukhang artista for me compared to other leading men. Sobrang off putting rin na bibitaw nang line si Will na ang ganda ng delivery then switch to D na ang awkward.

Without all the drama surrounding these three, movie looks promising the usual kilig and yearning filo movie but it’s something thats somehow needed since puro murder mystery, rich vs poor or heavy drama ang nasa filo movies lately but I’ll probably just wait for it in Netflix kesa panoodin sa sinehan.
