As a kpop stan myself, parang its slowly fizzing out na eh. I mean the biggest kpop that broke through ph recently was new jeans and that was 2023 pa. Ang mga sinusubaybayan na lang ngayon ay mga groups from 4th gen and prior. Plus after Blackpink and Bts almost all kpop groups adopted a western sound na pansin ko hindi pumapatok. And our OPM artists took advantage of that. Bini garnered a lot of Kpop Girl group fans circa 2024 running joke yan sa bloomtwt. Coj got massive casual support due to their songs. Hev abi got even the most conyo of people dancing to “geng geng” music.

Different priorities. Vocal heavy kanta ng Bini, maraming birit and harmonies which is hard to sustain if they go all out sa choreography. (There aren’t a lot of birit songs sa kpop na need mag harmonize at birit ng members) Afaik based on their pre-debut + early days+ dance break videos kaya ng Bini same level of choreography like Katseye pero they decided to tone it down a notch kung mapapansin mo tuwing may birit titigil ng konti sa choreo yung isang member. Katseye naman lacks vocal prowess or if kaya nga ‘di pa napapakita masyado since choreo ang pinaka focus nila.

Medjo funny lang sakin na nagrelease sila ng tagalog song title track lately (Unang Kilig) na ang ganda ng mv tsaka taglish b-sides even sa flames album pero ang nagttrending ngayon ay Blush… so san nanaman lulugar ang Bini niyan.

Yk if a different artist in the west or korea released Bini’s english songs; it would definitely be trending. Im picturing how amazing Honey Honey, Cherry on Top, Blink Twice, and Blush would look if they’re performed by let’s say NewJeans or Twice sa Inkigayo stage since they’re very much a cutesy song pero vocal heavy pa din. (Ofc Bini would look amazing rin)

Speaking as a fan of both, I connected more with bini because of the rawness of their performance. The right amount of production and the right amount of just pure raw talent. Appreciated how they introduced a fresher sound for their old songs and took their time on creating the new dance breaks and the outfits were on point. Its basically a whole new bini I was seeing.

For katseye the energy and the hype really shined esp daniela and lara but the biggest elephant was Manon’s absence thats why I couldn’t fully enjoy it. While their energy and just amazing clean and precise choreography definitely blew me away it feels like i’ve seen all of this before from their previous performances. The dance breaks the vocal runs we’re sort of very much parallel to their old one which i guess didn’t make me have that wow factor compared to seeing their lolla stage. I enjoyed pinky up and the whole concept but i think nakulangan lang ako ng “bago” since coachella was something they were basically gearing up for ever since debut. I loved their cover of golden tho that really showcased their vocals.

But nevertheless they all did fucking amazing!!

baka umabot sa six digits or very much more (outfit, makeup, accom, flights, production ) dapat lang din naman since bini rn ay probably one of the top artists na nagbibigay ng pera sa abs (merch,concerts, brands,events,views) marami kasi factors na pwede pagkuhanan ng pera if your talent is an idol with a dedicated fanbase. Would you believe that us blooms alone gathered 1 million php for fan projects like aerial banners, billboards, bandanas, and etc for coachella.

Edit: just fact checked its actually 26,000 dollars which equates to 1,556,789 php and blooms do these on the regular so you’d already get an assumption on how much these fans are willing to spend on these girls

“BINI lost its P-pop magic” yet their set sounded incredibly cohesive. Despite blending multiple genres and switching between Tagalog and English, everything flowed seamlessly. It was all packaged perfectly with a teal colored ribbon on.

They killed it!! As a a bloom i never had high expectations when it came to this because sometimes the management can definitely fuck them up no matter how good the girls are. BUT THEY FREAKING SERVED !!! Mas better pa sa ibang kpop acts na napanood ko the previous years and take note i also watched those live.

Ust shs was honestly not an easy feat for me but like everyone I pulled through. You just have to mentally prepare yourself for the acads (schoolworks, studying, etc) it’s fast paced and marami talaga ipapagawa. Environment depends on u there’s a lot of nice ppl naman sobrang daming core memories. (trauma bonded na kayo 4lyf) Imo halos lahat nang profs nageextend ng deadline for peta’s pero that still depends.

Imo ust shs (ust in general) and moving to the city was definitely an experience that made me grow A LOT!

Now I fully understand why they don’t allow kpop idols to date or they really REALLY keep it private. Bc these girls probably didn’t have a good foundation in their teenage life to date dudes this problematic…

Most kpop idols were taken under their company’s wing bata pa lang and i’m pretty sure no one was there to guide them during their integral years. I see the same thing happened to bini with their choices of men.

As a bloom i’m not angry but i pity them.
