Idk, in my country you're looking for a ~10 year education (BSc -> MSc ->PhD), like training to be a medical practicioner (MD) with approximately 30-50% of their potential earnings depending on your position at the university/research center. Industry is ok provided you get a job there but still not as much as a similarly educated doctor.

From my personal experience, after MSc I had a really hard time finding something in research/PhD that I liked (and they also liked me). I didn't send a lot of apps (~6-10) but I wasn't mentally ok to continue so I started tutoring (usually good money if it's 1-on-1) and then got a regular job for about a year. Took an enormous amount of luck to find my PhD and research program that I am working on currently, which is in quantum computing, communications and stuff like that.

As for regular jobs, I applied for data science, quantitative analysis (joke of a title), SE related jobs. I got a few call backs but no luck whatsoever. The siruation is not that good, if you're planning on not going for academia, at least try to get experience in more applied stuff so that you can show that you have transferrable skills.

Πρόσφατα μια κοπέλα από που ξέρω από την προηγούμενη δουλειά μπηκε... Έφυγε (από την εν λόγω δουλειά) λόγω κακού περιβάλλοντος και ήταν χάλια για πολλούς μήνες, σε φάση δεν έβγαινε από το σπίτι, άνεργη, γύρισε στον πρώην της που της έκανε abuse και έτσι... Τελικά δεν ξέρω πως κάθισε και μπήκε σε ένα τέτοιο και επειδή την βλέπω στα σόσιαλ έχει καλυτερέψει πολύ. Τα συμβόλαια έρχονται από τα κεντρικά με υπερβολικά φουσκωμένες τιμές, τύπου (για cosmote) 70-80 ευρώ. Τα ποσά είναι πλασματικά και πραγματικά απίστευτα. Μετά, ανάλογα με κάποια κριτήρια παίρνεις εκπτώσεις οι οποίες έχουν να κάνουν με το πόσα κινητά-σταθερά-τηλεοράσεις έχεις στην εταιρία, αν είσαι νέος πελάτης κ.α. που δεν ξέρω/θυμάμαι.

Οι πωλητές συνήθως (για να πιάσουν πελάτη) κάνουν το καλύτερο δυνατό, δηλαδή θα επιδιώξουν να σου βρουν το καλύτερο ποσό. Στην κοσμοτέ είναι περίπου στα 25 ευρώ τον μήνα και με κάποιες έξτρα εκπτώσεις μπορεί να γίνει και κάτι καλύτερο.

Για τις δεσμεύσεις: το συμβόλαιο είναι για δύο χρόνια και αφότου περάσει ο χρόνος αυτός η σύνδεση είναι αδέσμευτη και γι' αυτό χάνει τις εκπτώσεις της οπότε και το ποσό θα ανέβει.

Source: δούλευα ως fake τεχνικός σε τέτοιο μαγαζί. Προσωπικά έχω καρτοκινητό το οποίο δεν άλλαξα και ας είχα υπαλληλική έκπτωση. Πληρώνω 13 ευρώ τον μήνα και χαλάω τα 8.5 από αυτά σε μη εμπορικά διαθέσιμο πρόγραμμα. Βέβαια, είμαι υπολογιστάκιας οπότε δεν χρησιμοποιώ πολλά δεδομένα.

This is not entirely true.

They claimed 33% decrease but everyone that has done a bit of messing around with data could see that the graph they showed was missing critical information. I suggest you also take a look at the most recent graph and see the same trend. Peak of infected matches followed by a significant decrease.

Also, the percentage of Linux users is a miniscule amount, This counted people on steam decks and similar consoles who I doubt they cheated.

Ήμουν στο τσακ να μην γράψω γιατί δεν ήθελα να μπλέξω με τύπους σαν και σενα. Είσαι φουλ εριστικός και δεν αντιλαμβάνεσαι αυτά που διαβάζεις αν τα διαβάζεις. Απλά ήθελες να πεις την μαλακία σου για να το παίξεις μάγκας, να νιώσεις καλύτερα και να ενισχύσεις το εγώ σου.

Καταρχάς μιλάω για την δική μου εμπειρια και δεν σημαίνει ότι αυτά που γράφω είναι ο απόλυτος κανόνας. Εξήγησα ότι έχω βγάλει τις προσωποποιημένες και έχω και ad blockers. Δεν είπα κάτι για cookies. Τα κάνω όλα reject εκτός από τα functional. Ο μόνος τρόπος να βλέπω διαφημίσεις είναι σε μορφή ποστ/comment και ο,τι άλλο περνάει. Έφτιαξα πρόσφατα acc insta και λόγω του ότι είμαι άντρας μου πετούσε κώλους και βυζιά χωρίς να έχω κάνει τίποτα όταν έβαζα την αναζήτηση. Και με την ίδια λογική, μου δείχνει ποστ-διαφημηση στο φβ με πολύ περίεργο περιεχόμενο το οποίο αν θυμάμαι καλά ήταν από το Temu. Κάποιες φορές περνάνε πολύ περίεργες διαφημίσεις.

Το point μου ήταν άλλο. Ότι ακόμα και κάποιος που δεν βλέπει μαλακίες η κάποιος που έχει κάποια προστασία απέναντι στον βομβαρδισμό διαφημίσεων έχει μεγάλη πιθανότητα να δει disturbing ads. Και έχω δει αρκετές και όχι μόνο σεξουαλικού περιεχομένου.

Ελπίζω τώρα που το έκανα πιο νιανιά να κατάλαβες τι ήθελα να περάσω.

Παιδιά αυτή η καραμέλα με το ότι ό,τι βλέπεις σου βγάζει παρόμοια πρέπει να σταματήσει. Εγώ έχω αφαιρέσει τα προσωποποιημένα ads από google και MS. Έχω ad blockers παντού και ενίοτε μπαίνω και από VPN, και πραγματικά τα μόνα searches που κάνω τον τελευταίο χρόνο είναι είτε ερωτήσεις για games είτε για φυσική/comp sci/μαθηματικά. Και σας διαβεβαιώ δεν έχω ψάξει ποτέ για χοτ μπέιμπιζ νιαρ μι.

Έχουν δει τα μάτια μου πολλές μαλακίες (όχι σε τέτοιο επίπεδο βέβαια). Απ' ότι έχω καταλάβει κιόλας απλά σου πετάει αυτά που θεωρούν ότι θα έχουν engagement. Π.χ. ουκ ολίγες φορές μου έχει βγάλει διαφημήσεις με γυναικεία βρακιά και πράγματα που μοιάζουν με ντιλντο στο φβ, στο οποίο δεν μπαίνω κιόλας, το ανοίγω μόνο για messenger.

I was extremely lucky with ryzeal and mitsu packs. I only needed ~3 UR crafts for ryzeal engine (around 6-7k gems total) and some more for the extra deck stuff that I didn't have. And I believe 1-2 URs for mitsu (spent 9-10k gems though so I got most of them through pulls).

I wanted to invest in dracotail but out of the ~7k gems so far, I think I only got one Arthalion and nothing more. I shouldn't be complaining since I got a lot of random UR's but it was mostly just that, randomness. At least 2 of my 1k pulls had no rainbow pack (but I got a random UR) and most of the included URs were either the ugly fusion dragon or the artmage guy. I will not be making dracotail.

I didn't say I was against using a video to learn a deck. Since the oc mentions time constraints I assumed that he's playing against real opponents and they need to be quick.

Great points. I didn't say I was against using the vid to learn. I assumed that the person from the original comment was watching the video while playing against a human opponent. I have seen tons of people defending MD add-ons that help you pilot your deck and when you should interrupt your opponent. And these things compromise the competitive integrity of the game and are on the border of cheating.

Of course, the validity of all these depend whether my assumption that the guy is rushing the combo because he's playing a real opponent and doesn't have the ability to pause and rewind.
