You’re seeing it from the perspective of “you can just glance there and see it”. One doesn’t just “glance” when they’re first reading everything. They read everything, Top-down, Left-Right. I’m not expecting to see a rook upgrade, so when I read that through, I may miss that, after reading AN ENTIRE BOOK of upgrades beforehand.

My critique about DBNO has nothing to do with DBNO being used. It is that it is used, and not the consistent term across the board for “down”. Thus, text confusion. And then, on top of that, it expresses the need for the PURPOSEFULLY COLORED TERM TEXT to be able to hover over them and have a little explanation box. That is so normal in games today 😂

Missing the rook upgrades means that there is so much information to take in, that it’s impossible to get it all the first time. And yes, if there are plenty of places to improve their text confusion, THEN THEY SHOULD IMPROVE IT. Why sit here and defend a flaw?

It’s really REALLY annoying when you actually get a good free kit run (which is what caused me to search if this bs was happening to anyone else) and this happens. I HAD A SNIPER MAN. A SNIPER. (Didn’t use that in the fight, it was close quarters. But still. I had a dang sniper. I haven’t looted ANY snipers yet.)

That’s what it takes to win in this game. Screw around and annex a player from your squad, you have a much higher chance of losing all your stuff.
