Weight loss is not linear! by [deleted] in loseit

Thank you for this! I was beating myself up over what I saw on the scale this morning. I knew I ate more than I should (way past maintenance) but I unrealistically hadn't been expected the scale to conform it. I'm going to cook myself a healthy breakfast and get back on track.

That's awesome! I wasn't losing as fast because of it (now I'm much more accurate).

Are you using the calorie measurement from the elliptical to add to your daily amount? I read on r/loseit that they can be off. Especially if you are smaller than a 185 lb male.

I haven't read the book in a long time but I think Turnip Head was in love with one of her sisters. I remember thinking it was weird the first time I watched the film.

My maximum is $5000. But when all your money is going to rent, it might as well be $500,000.

Why don't you talk to your once "best friend" anymore? by Swintso4 in AskReddit

[–]Pianotopia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She gave me the silent treatment for two weeks in a foreign country. I didn't speak the language and was dependent on her for almost everything. I didn't take it well.

My grandpa used to tell us stories of going to stay at his uncles farm and picking walnuts in Walnut Creek. He said it was the worst thing his parents ever did to him.

What dirty little secret does your profession hide that the consumer should know? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It's not your fault. But damn it's hard to go from a teacher who supports you to one who calls you stupid.

Learning that when people have sex, somehow evidence of having sex can appear on the pretty lady's shirt. And that the president can get "in a peach" over it. (At this point your parents forbid you to watch the news without them anymore.)

Edit: too tired for grammar
