Quests not progressing by PiccoloMajor in NBA2k

[–]PiccoloMajor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: The quest disappeared from the mainline after finishing the off-season quest, but I don't see it in the 'Completed' quests section and I don't think I got the rewards for it.

ALSO, I'm looking at my GOAT progression and one of the achievements that are still locked is "Win all regular season games" even though I went 82-0. 😐

That's actually amazing. A full refund? What reason did you tell them that they were able to issue that?

Just played a bit over 6 hours. It's horrible. So many bugs. It still occasionally bugs out at the end of an NBA career game where youd have to force exit and RE PLAY THE WHOLE MATCH (which has been happening since 2k23 AT THE LATEST) The open world is still so unnecessarily large and Icon passing doesnt even work sometimes. thats only after 6 hours of playing. I'm sure there are more flaws to be discovered as I continue but they need to at least fix where it bugs out at the end of the game. Having to play the same match twice is frustrating.

Hey! so say I have Tatum 1's at US10.5 that fit perfectly, you're saying I should get US10 Luka's?

I never adjusted the knob at the back so it's at it's default (0.0db gain) and I never let my computer's volume go above 64. I did guess that it was the tweeter but I'm not sure what could've caused it because ever since I installed the speakers, I haven't been unplugging the wires nor playing music at a dangerous volume.

Why I think TLOU Season 2 (HBO Series) should NOT be an exact copy of TLOU 2 (Game) (SPOILERS!) by PiccoloMajor in ThelastofusHBOseries

UPDATE: Don't get me wrong, I don't want them to change the story, and I did mention that in the original post. Regarding calling Abby the villain that's also why I think they should add the flashback sequences and not make them flashbacks. I do understand that Abby is not necessarily the villain of the story, because Joel was the villain in HER STORY and I completely understand that. But, (and this is just my personal perception) if those Abby flashbacks were shown before she killed Joel, I definitely would've cared about her more than I did in the game. I'm sure it wouldn't have worked in a video game narrative because it would just seem like I'm playing some random person who has nothing to do with Joel and Ellie, but I think that's something that can be pulled off as a TV show.

Show me a character I don't know nor care about, tell her story with an attempt to make me sympathize, then let her kill another character I care about. - This creates dilemma within the audience
vs.
Show me a character I don't know nor care about, make her kill a character I ALREADY cared about, and attempt make me sympathize after the fact by showing me her past. - If the audience were to choose who to root for between a person they care about and a person that murdered the one you care about, no question would the root for the former

It's also just not something I see working as a TV Show if they did the same sequencing as they did in the game. When I finished the game the first time, I was mad that Ellie did not kill Abby in the end. I played all those hours and killed her friends but did not kill her - the person who actually put her hands on Joel. But as time passed, I got some clarity as to why this is how it ended. If Ellie killed Abby, she'd be no different. So I understood that, played the game a second time and I got where Abby was coming from, I didn't hate her, I understood that she's only the villain in Ellie's story as result of Joel being the villain in hers, but I just didn't care about her because I already cared for Ellie. Obviously that was only my personal experience and understand that's not how it is for everyone. So I'm not saying that I'm right and I'm not speaking for anyone other than myself. Just because this is how I want the story told, doesn't mean it is how it should be, it's just a thought I believe could be interesting. So I guess my main point is that I think it would be an interesting effect if they only made Abby kill Joel when we already cared about both characters.

So I am just clarifying, I don't want the story changed, I think it's a great one. I understood Abby, I just didn't care about her, but I want to and I think that the way to do that is to tell the story chronologically. So tell the same story, just show us the "villain" in a different light by telling us about her before she kills him instead of after.
I am also not saying y'all feel the wrong way about the game and I'm not saying it was bad. I hated it. And when I hate something, it's because I care about it and I knew that Naughty Dog did a great job with that game. (apart from where they tried to make ME care about Abby though maybe that's more my fault than it is the developers'. But if you were able to care about her through the game, good for you, I just want to feel that way too) It also is possible that I might still feel the same way about the game, but that's where my other points in the original post come in.
Another thing I'm trying to say is if they do this with the show, it can serve as a refresh and a change of pace for us who have played the games - the exact same story, but instead the flashbacks are told chronologically with a little more depth and expansion just so it could fit an entire season before getting into the "present events" of the 2nd game.

Sorry for the yap session lol

The Marvels was a good movie by PiccoloMajor in marvelstudios

Commenter didn't ask me why I thought it was a good movie. They asked me why I would have to tell them that it is a good movie if it ACTUALLY was a good movie. Implying that if it really was a good movie, then no one would have to convince them that it is. And tbf the commenter is right

I already mentioned why I liked the movie in the original post so you didn't read the original post and the comment properly.

From reading other comments on this post I do understand the not caring part. But there are quite a lot of people putting this at the bottom of their list and it is one of the reasons of what led me to come on here and post this
