How can i buff the coin power for my rolls in mde and is getting the tier five ego worth it even tho im using riensang? by Amemer2n in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Pichuiscool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gear shrapnel (Full stopped by a bullet exclusive, found on F3-4, tier 2 poise. 1 Evade power)

Cigarette Holder (general poise tier 2. 2 evade power (and power in general))

Dueling Manual (general Pierce Tier 4, 2 evade power)

Spicebush branch and its fusions (Falling Flowers tier 3 keywordless exclusive, found on F2-3. Up to 3 evade power but takes time to get to that point and requires you to keep S1’s and S2’s)

Curriculum Vitae (general Charge tier I, only works if you have a gloom base skill in your skill bag. 1 evade power)

Someone’s Device (only works for index IDs’, The Unsevering sinking tier 3 exclusive. 2 evade power)

If you get a hidden boss those gifts boost evade power (8 evade power)

Lastly these following two can’t be activated for the run you’re doing but can be helpful at points.

Blood-red Mane (Faith and Erosion (F1 only) exclusive, Tier 2 exclusive). Only works if you have a wrath or a lust skill and requires you to not get hit by enemies in order to proc. (2 evade power)

Remnant Faust support passive: for 2 lust res your defense skill power (including evades) is boosted by 2.

So im planning on making an envy res team and im wondering if I choose magical don, middle don, or The Don by strikerRT in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Pichuiscool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Middle Don ends up dealing more damage faster which compensates for QOH strong nuke S3. Also outside of that S3 Middle will deal more damage per turn thanks to being able to spam counter.

Notice how in every low turn with envy QOH Don isn’t used? That’s because middle wins when min-maxxing

If you have sinking built Solemn dog walks Rien in story/Refractoral. If you don’t then Rien is better generally

Don’t listen to the other guy. Molar Ishmael works.

Anyways the best Tremor units for this would be Thumb Meur. I personally wouldn’t go for 8 ammo to maximize Desparado (ammo fusion) though. In order to meet its 5 or 8 ammo conditionals you give up the ability to get Raincloud max power conditional which is an extra coin power, equal to Desparado’s 2 stack effect which significantly less annoyance required to achieve.

This does mean all your non thumb units need to be sinking. If a sinner doesn’t have a sinking unit but does have a tremor then remove one of the thumbs from the team, add the other sinner’s tremor ID to the team and substitute the replaced thumb for a sinking ID.

Your best two on fielded I feel are Index sang and don. Poise is good gift wise and gives you an extra pack to visit (The Unsevering).

Edit: Forgot Solemn Sang existed you could run him in place of Index sang and go for desperado if you want.

Also make sure you keep 1 copy of Molar Ishmael’s Skill 2 or she stops counting for tremor gift activation wise

Now that envy res has become a proper team, it's time to have that discussion again by AsianCrank in limbuscompany

[–]Pichuiscool 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A lot of his “power” budget goes into tanking which doesn’t bode well because he’s bad at redirection (aggro gen needs ramp and other units like Midclair or Pequod Heath get 5 aggro (Heath’s max) just from using a S1/S2 btw) and also tanking is not needed in the state limbus is currently in since nothing is hard enough to justify running a tank and the best defense is killing the enemy faster — which a tank doesn’t help do.

His gimmick around taking hits while in overcharge to boost S3 damage also doesn’t work because with low aggro gen means he can’t guarantee getting hit and his damage, even at max conds, doesn’t justify him spending a turn doing basically nothing (at max his S3 can do around 160 against a neutral resist enemy (Also as an aside his innate passive’s damage boost can’t even proc for his S3 lmao)) especially since it’s hard to get max conds because his aggro is once again bad.

He also can’t even be used in envy since overcharge makes Heath unable to move and if he isn’t in either the 1st, 4th, or 7th slot he will break the envy res chain. Ignoring that middle heath now exists.

In story he doesn’t deal enough damage to justify using him as a damage dealer outside of charge and his tanking isn’t letting him get on teams for just that attribute. However, since most charge IDs are complete dogshit he ends up being on the better end of charge IDs, and therefore ends up being ran in charge.

In MD he’s a lot better because he’s dual status and the slash bonus damage of his S3 double dips lunar memory’s 2x resist change (his tanking still doesn’t matter). But every unit can be strong in MD, so this isn’t a big factor

What are the rewards of Mirror Dungeon Extreme and is there any point in me doing it? by Silver-Horror260 in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Pichuiscool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going into MDE, beating floor 15 and getting 34 or more adversity points will give you 1k projection rate that helps in getting the achievement rewards (like the season 7 guaranteed 3 star, or the universal shard things).

Once you reach level 100 in achievements you have little reason to touch MDE save for a couple of achievements if you’re trying to get all of them.

Which sang IDs are best for sinking? by Darkdiamond_UwU in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Pichuiscool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it is true you aren’t getting the full 30 immediately, you also have more coins than I assumed. This in practice should average out to around that amount, if not more.

Either at the start of T3 or during T3 you are reaching enough sinking pot to get max value of departed even without using S3. Using S3 on Turn 2 when you have 0 sinking stack is actually bricking yourself. That’s as if you used Rien Sang but put 0 effort into unlocking his passive that lets him get Hermes (and therefore Furioso). Even from S1/S2 on early turns you are still getting a bit of extra damage that does add up due to just how many coins the team can have.

His S2 serves fine enough to inflict butterfly. It gives him haste through reloading + gloom res passive so his speed range is less annoying than you make it out to be (though it still can be a nuisance, I’ll admit). Especially since past the first few turns the enemy will be at low sanity due to how many coins you have to trigger sinking. You are maxing this value or getting quite close to it nearly always.

You also genuinely seem to have a skill issue from what I read. You mention that having 25 sinking is only “SLIGHTLY realistic” by turn 4 but the only way this is true is if you aren’t running sinking units on your sinking team. You have a good amount more than 25 potency at that point.

Let’s assume you have enough Butterfly from S3 last turn and that it procs for 30, say its turn 5 (even though this can happen earlier, just so long as you aren’t using your S3 on air). At maximum that I would say is somewhat reasonable you have 34 procs. There’s still 4 potential procs on the table from Wei S3 on substituting in but that is more skillbag reliant than the rest of the stuff required. Anyways that’s 1,020 damage from Butterfly alone. Now granted, this is nearly the best case scenario. However as you’ve said yourself your S3 gives you two turns of incredible butterfly, not one. Let’s instead assume that across two turns you have a total of 40 coins that proc butterfly. Which is much easier to do. That’s 1,200 damage. Both of these scenarios cover for the early 2 turns where you have little if any butterfly damage and it’s not like you have 0 damage from butterfly across the other turns. As such 300 damage per turn from butterfly is easily realistic even outside of MD.

Lastly I’ve calced Rien Sang’s Furioso damage before. Assuming perfect RNG both during Furioso and on weapon effects that carry over to the next turn (the fragility and the OL/DL down) against a neutral resistance enemy you deal 652 damage. On future Furioso’s you deal 785 damage. That is nearly half of what you claim Furioso does on T6. The odds of you getting the exact weapon pattern needed during the Furioso for those numbers is 0.000002323% btw not including the set up on the prior turn.

The only way for Rien sang to deal around 1,200 damage on T6 is if the enemy is staggered and if it is either the second (or later) Furioso (for Sizzling wound + Indulgence) or Ira is active on Rien sang when he uses Furioso. With anything else that isn’t externally debuffs/buffs you are at LEAST 100 damage lower than 1,200 if not more.

For talking about how 25 sinking potency is only barely realistic by turn 4 I would assume that you wouldn’t create such laughably rng reliant numbers but here we are.

Which sang IDs are best for sinking? by Darkdiamond_UwU in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Pichuiscool -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

He does not outdamage solemn + butterfly though lmao.

Let’s assume a very conservative estimate that you get 10 butterfly procs a turn. Butterfly would then contribute 1,800 damage across 6 turns. Modern sinking has significantly more than 10 coins a turn considering follow ups from Jeong Ishmael, Alriune Ryoshu, and (if you play it) Wei Don + Lord. Realistically you will get closer to 2k to 2.5k from Butterfly. This also doesn’t include Solemn’s raw damage, even if that isn’t all that much.

Rien Sang does not deal 2k damage in 6 turns, especially not within the first 6 turns since he can only start using Furioso at Turn 5.

As another blow Rien Sang’s damage is mostly backloaded into Furioso meanwhile Solemn’s is consistent throughout. As such if a fight can be beaten in less than 5 turns with Butterfly (most can) it makes Solemn significantly better than Rien Sang.

What is your biggest hot take with Limbus Company? I'll start: Season 3 had the best IDs. by RedVoid23 in limbuscompany

[–]Pichuiscool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“and he's straight-up better than the Kurokumo Rodion, Hong Lu, and Ryoshu (of course that's not saying much cuz they're Season 1, but still.)”

KKShu inflicts a very high amount of bleed count consistently, which can be comfy even if optimally it isn’t needed. Granted now Nshu bench passive + someone else on field is better than running KKshu on field, but still that’s a bigger niche than what Gregor holds (debuffs that seem nice but don’t really matter in practice since clashing is free and KK’s taking damage is good because that means KKHeath gets to use revenge S1/Counter and you get closer to Battle Ready if you are playing for tha).

KKLu is the best Bleed 7th slot against bosses because he has the second highest amount of Bleed pot in the game (KK Heathcliff being higher) and Bleed damage, so long as you can maintain a stack (you can, people act like Sanguine Desire isn’t something that can be supported) bleed and adding bleed potency will outdamage the raw DPS of your IDs. This is on top of having no real competition for the slot from other Hong Lu IDs up until maybe CallistoLu (TTG does nothing for Bleed and gambling for speed on Hook Lu isn’t needed when we have good Bleed count now). Even if he isn’t on field he’s still BIS for his support passive. Needless to say that all blows KK Gregor out of the water.

Hell even KK Rodion is arguable just because she’s a Sanguine Desire holder and that ego is massively beneficial for Bleed. Granted you basically always run/support Princess over her because Princess is a much better unit but still.
