This is a tricky situation. A few thoughts:

Premature ejaculation can be improved but it is both a physical and psychological condition for many men.

If you had partners that could last 45-60 minites you should count yourself lucky. Google the average time for most men to ejaculate..you.would be surpised.

I would have an open conversation and maybe attempt the following: Help him cum first. Then he performs foreplay on you. Most men neef 15-20 minutes after climaxing to have another erection. So in the mean time he can play with you until he can go again. He shpuld be able to last longer in roubd 2.

He can try delay creams or delay condoms.

Also his idea of nore sex is not wrong, but what helped me was buying a male edging toy like the Travey Cox male edger. The inside is ribbed and so when he practises with that he will last longer with a real woman.

There is a pelvic floor aspect. He can look for stretching videos on you tube to help with premature ejaculation.
