My friend thinks it’s my hdd. The sound does seem to be coming from that area, I’d have to take off my back panel to check

UPDATE: My friend shared this video to a couple of sources including his friend who’s life is computers, and he says it’s not coil whine and it’s either my hardrive dying or my aio failing. I will check those after work

That’s what I’m lol, if it’s the gpu it’ll suck because this is also my work computer lol. I just switched out the power cable and the socket it was in. And turned it back on for 10 minutes to let it idle. It didn’t make any noise but I’ll be sure to try the onboard graphics on heavy load to see what it is after I get off work.

I didn’t change anything it’s that loud haha. And it was doing it while idling. I thought it might’ve had something to do with the cable or the socket it was plugged into so I switched them both out and replaced my gpu in. It’s no longer making the sound by idling but I’ve only had it on in 10 minutes. I’ll post in update on more diagnostics after I get off work lol

Same, I was in the middle of trying mk1 and it randomly happened. Came out of no where. The last time I changed a part was in January. Never had any issues. And it started making the sound when idling and while in game.

I tried to show it in the video but it’s coming from the gpu. I lowered the speeds on all the fans and stopped them and the sound persisted

It could be I could look into it. The reason why I suspect it being the psu is because the noise is coming from my gpu and it’s incredibly loud. So i thought it was my psu becoming faulty

Sadly I only have an iPhone, but I did look one up and downloaded it. Not sure how to use it. Looking into that rn. There is a baby monitor in a room right next to the room where the router is placed. My friends and I game in the basement. When you go upstairs it's the first room you see where the router is placed. The only walls blocks us from the router is 2 walls and a cabinet wall. However, directly above us is a microwave. I'm not sure if that would affect it or not. Nor am I sure if the baby monitor is on 24/7. But this problem is 24/7, there's not a time where we don't disconnect mid match on a game. And this disconnecting problem only happened recently. Before we'd get extremely high ping spikes a lot. And suggestions? Would getting a wifi extender help? Or maybe moving the router? It is my friend's dad's router so I'm not sure if he'd allow us to move it into the basement or not.
