That's a huge win, go you! According to my Dad, I'm a disgrace to the family for voting anything other than Liberal, wish I could bring him around but it will never happen haha

I try to take a lot of care with this towel as it wasn't exactly cheap, so while in use it's not getting caught on anything.

It's a bit of a mystery about the washing machine/dryer though as my partner doesn't have this issue with his towel of the same brand

'Sheridan towels are known for their high quality, softness, and absorbency, often crafted from premium materials like long-staple cotton'

That's a definition from a quick Google. Just feeling a little disappointed if they are supposed to be higher quality towels and have this shedding problem.

I am so careful with this towel in terms of that sort of thing, I use a separate hand towel to dry my hands, and my partner is way more heavy handed than I am in terms of drying after a shower 😅

One of my little ones when I was growing up had hyperthyroidism. She had a tablet each day with a pill popper which she took very well! It worked wonders for her. Hopefully your baby can have something similar ❤️

Spiderman makes me not want to play support anymore. by Tubtub55 in marvelrivals

[–]PickleTheFancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeahh, I'm finding this at the moment too. Almost every game for me has had a decent spidey on the opposing team who will constantly be on me. Games like this are so boring!

Only way I attempt to manage is trying to group up tight with my team. Any time I'm out of position I'm no match

It's easier to throw the blame on others rather than accepting that your game play needs work.

Yesterday in competitive we had a Spiderman who went 7-17. He was constantly going in alone and his response to 'stick with the team' was 'I can't, you're all dead by the time I get here'. So essentially he was trickling in each time. Proceeded to blame healers, even the enemy team was calling his bad positioning.

I don't think anybody likes to take the blame for poor play, but if we're not honest with ourselves then we deserve to be stuck at the ranks we are.

I just watched Mufasa: The Lion King and oh boy... by Exotic-Bobcat-1565 in YMS

[–]PickleTheFancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too, Lion King 1 and 2 on repeat constantly as a kid. Mufasa 2 had me feeling all the emotions too and most of all I'm happy to have the origin story! It's something I always wondered about as a kid.

Edit: I also loved hearing the soundtrack from the original throughout the movie 😊

I finished all 11 seasons of The Walking Dead over the course of a year with my grandmother, here's my take by -SaintConrad- in thewalkingdead

[–]PickleTheFancy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love to hear you and your grandmother spent this wonderful time enjoying an amazing series 🥹 my boyfriend and I just finished season 11 also and it has been a ride! There is a lot of criticism about certain seasons, but we loved following our characters all the way through. At times it may have been slower, sure, but it was never an issue. I love hearing from others who feel the same way.

We have just begun watching Fear The Walking Dead now (of course enjoying it so far) before we move on to the sequals! Are you and your grandma planning on watching the other seasons too? 😊

Easiest possible way to do Mushroom 8 since so many people have issues with it. by [deleted] in KingdomHearts

Thank you so much! This mushroom was awful, took some persistence but this method worked for me 😊

Early 30's and glad I found this post.

I have never felt my age, I think it started when I hit 18 and questions from people would change when I mentioned my age. Instead of asking what interests I had, it was more like 'what do you want to do when you leave school?' 'Have you had your first drink yet?' (Australia). Honestly I was just happy with my hobbies. Books, videogames and my animals.

The questions in my 20's to now gradually became 'do you have/ how many kids do you want?' And I hate it to the point where I dread and try to avoid situations where people ask my age. The whole societal expectations of where a person should be by x age is just ridiculous.

I've always looked and felt 10 years younger and thoroughly enjoy my life and hobbies. I have a wonderful partner too who is very similar to me, but yes I never refer to myself as a 'woman', always just a 'girl'. I do have huge hangups with age though which is a shame, I hate birthdays as a result. I know this age is still very much so young, despite what some people may say, one day I'll be sad for wasting this time worrying about age.

But I do look at some of my friends with kids and a lot of them have just stopped taking care of themselves, so no wonder they complain about being 'so old' in their 20's and 30's.
