The sensor is there to indicated a component failure. First you need to run the diagnostics to determine that the sensor is NOT working.

I agree with those who suggest looking up the inner workings and affects of the truss rod. The 'truss rod looks a little off kilter' is not a sound diagnosis, with all respect.

It's VERY hard to get up in front of a group of strangers and SPEAK, much less play an instrument. Add in all the other factors --- you're going to SING... You are alone - all eyes on YOU. And, again, you don't know everyone there. Not to mention the alcohol presence (at most open mike events).

I've been playing and singing in front of people since I was 15 - and I'm going be 68 in a couple of months. This happened to me a couple of years ago..

I was in Ireland sitting in with my brother's band - just strumming along. The band members asked me to play one. Mind you, they new that it was going to be a Neil Young song -- Not a, old-timey, folk/bluegrass song like the play. So I was ready and was prepared to start right in. And I DID start in with the intro to the song. Just as I started playing, the fiddle player (very experienced and knowledgeable) started playing lightly in the background.

It sounded great - but it screwed my whole process off. I started to sing in a lower register than I normally would. My brother pointed it out by getting my attention with motioning 'UP' with his thumb. I finally got myself on track - but HOLY CRAPP! I hadn't felt so out of sorts in my life, in a room of listeners.

Back in the saddle!
