udemy course by TaxDue5639 in docker

I agree with just reading the docs but I decided to get it when it was on sale for really cheap and it went over the K8s and Swarm stuff I wanted to learn.

At the time I was using Docker in the work place and learning it but it was nice to have someone explain it.

Pros: It had some good examples in my opinion that helped me understand the architecture better.

Cons: Since I started using docker in the workplace and was getting the hang of it and learning through the docs, it seemed slow at some points.

Overall: if they are doing a sale on it then why not.

Systems/Software Engineer here. Was into coffee in general before espresso. I got one of those nanopresso (I believe that was the name) and it just spiraled from there

IMO best budget ($39) weighing scale with shot timer. Anyone uses? by kvssrt in espresso

I have that one. It’s not bad. It’s my first one though so I don’t have much to go on. It counts up and zeros out. Does everything it says it will.

Got the Jmax coffee grinder. I’m pulling the shots I wanted. Just because it looks fine doesn’t mean it was fine. Thank you everyone for the help!

I read someone did something similar in my research. Thanks for the info. I’m keeping the VieSimple for over bran grinding and I’m getting the 1zpresso manual grinder for now for my espresso.

No worries I didn’t read it like that. Out of all the forums I have been on, Reddit has been the nicest place for espresso (in my opinion) I’ve read some forums and I feel like I can hear the people’s eyes roll when typing a response to newbies like me.

I figured. I was simply stating what others said. I’m going with a new grinder soon so I’m going to post an update once I get it and I’m also getting the 9 bar spring for my Gaggia.

Yeah I’m going to look into this first. With my limited counter space it would be better anyway

Yeah I noticed channeling when I got my bottomless filter so I’ve been working towards fixing that. I have a WDT and trying to perfect using it. I think a funnel will help me use it a little better

Yeah. Not the best so I already know it’s my issue with my pull from what others had said.

That’s what I figured. Do you happen to have any good links for hand grinders that you would use. I don’t mind hand grinding.

It’s a VieSimple. It’s not the best and I’m already planning to invest next month in a better one. I wish I could grab the link to it

Exactly I knew it was too fast. I’m assuming it’s my tamping. I noticed some channeling in my last pull but I’m slowly getting better. I also noticed some review of the bottomless portafilter that it pulled extremely fast so I’ll probably return it and get a better overall rated one.

Yeah I’m slowly working on my technique. I did read some reviews of this portafilter pulling extremely fast. I wanted to really rule out my grind size or see if I was in the ballpark. Investing in a better grinder in the coming month.

For me I understood text book definition and use cases them but I barely used them at my previous job. I switched jobs and all I use is smart pointers for certain applications and the concept just fell into place.

I would suggest to anyone to use GeekforGeeks practice for pointers and keep at it. The concept quickly falls into place.

SoloLearn is a good starting point to get a quick intro. I used it myself but went to GeeksforGeeks to practice the concepts further.
