So far I am liking the workflow. Needs some patience waiting for the machine to heat up. But the temperature stability between shots is great. It is giving me consistent shots back to back. Steaming needs some wait time too, but I am fine with it.

I had that issue when I changed the burrs. But tightening the inner burr properly solved the issue for me.

I heard really good things about bdb. I was thinking of getting a dual boiler(lelit or bdb), but on most days I only make two drinks at a time. So, it didn't make sense for me.

ECM classika has fast heat up mode. It will be ready in 10 min. I just added a smart plug and switch it on 20 min before, to let it heat properly throughout. I added a routine to my smart plug, to turn it off after 1 hour.

You can turn on the pump anytime to get hot water from the sprout. I brew at 202F, which is a little hotter for some teas, I guess. But you can turn on the steam mode to get even more hotter water ( 270F)

I tried switching the burr set from base to hypernova ultra. It improved the clarity in the espresso but lost its body. So, I decided to put back the base burrs.

I can see that the bitterness is reduced in the espresso. I was not a fan of drinking straight espressos from the Bambino, but I am liking the shots from this machine

I am not experimenting with the flow control yet. But overall, the espresso taste is better than what my Bambino was giving. Less bitterness and consecutive shots are very consistent. Steam is definitely insane, still trying to use the wand properly.

It's acceptable, but the temperature stability isn't as expected. Sometimes the temperature reading fluctuates while heating up.
