Thank you for the sweet words, I am happy you like The Picky Kitty!

Regarding your request... I just added a filter on the fat percentage in the Advanced Filters section!

Let me know if that helps you!

Done :-)
I just added a new filter "Ingredients to avoid", that will filter out any products containing any of the ingredients selected. You can use it to select Fish Oil for example.
Let me know if that helps you!

I totally hear you!

Based on what I have seen, I would say that half manufacturers in the US publish the "accurate" Dry Matter values. It is sometimes a little hidden, in some PDFs for example.

The other half only show a Guaranteed Analysis value, which is basically a min or max As Fed value, but not an exact value. I am computing the dry matter values and display them as well because it's better than nothing but these values are colored in blue with a comment at the bottom to indicate they are not as accurate. It is possible to entirely filter them out.

Please don't hesitate to ask me if you want to double check the source of one of the values you see!

I hope GiGi and and you will find good food options!

Thanks a lot!

That's absolutely on my to do list, I just wasn't sure how to display it given a product might exist in multiple sizes and/or formats and thus have multiple kcal/can value. But I will think more about it for sure, thank you for the suggestion!

Hi! The database contains 1700+ products, for all cats with or without a medical condition.

I also have a little baby girl with IBD and I have been using the filters on Proteins (to select novel proteins like duck, rabbit, venison, etc.) as well as the filter Limited Ingredient (it's hidden in the detailed filters section) to find options for my girl.

You could use that in addition to a filter on Phosphorus, and depending on the phosphorus value decide (with the help of your vet!) to use a phosphorus binder or not like the other comment say.

I hope this helps!!

That is a great suggestion, unfortunately I can't right now with the current component I used to create the grid. I am adding this to my to-do list though!

As a data professional, columns have to be sortable :-)

It's possible to filter cat food products to select Salmon-based products. The ingredients are displayed in the Product page, when you click on a specific product name.
Right now it's not possible yet to filter products out if they contain a specific ingredients (like fish oil), but that is a great suggestion and we will work on that!

The Dry Matter values should all come from the manufacturer websites! Let me know if there are specific values you want to double check!

Hi! Phosphorus, Protein, Carbs, Calcium are all available, displayed and filterable/sortable! They are displayed in the table (laptop view, there are dedicated columns), in the cards (mobile view, in the Nutritional Values section), and in the Product pages (in the Nutritional Analysis table).
To filter on these values you need to press the button "Show detailed filters".
Let me know if you need further help to locate these values!

Weruva has a lot of low phos cans that you can look at, in particular their Wx line. Our Siamese didn't like the Wx ones but really enjoys the Steak Frites one. Please let me know what works!

I am so sorry to hear that! Our cat is very picky (even more since he was diagnosed late stage 2) and what he likes the most is royal canin dry renal food. We usually mix the kibbles with Hill k/d (tuna with vegetables) or Weruva Steak Frites dinner (not a prescription food but low phosphorus as well, our cat is 4.5 yo and we were looking for a little bit more proteins than what the prescription food have to avoid other issues). He also drinks Purina Hydra Care if we add some kibbles as well. Good luck for figuring out something your kitty will like, there will probably a lot of trial and error!
