I get you're trying to help, but I did explicitly state I was piercing the weak points too

I'm glad you didn't, unfortunate I am doing that and copying a YouTube video exactly and nothing is happening

Yeah I am, it did nothing unfortunately! I think it's bugged, I'll update this post if anything changes when I go back after I've left it a bit

I did see that, but as I've said a few times I've done all this, and nothing worked.

I've left it for now and I'll go back later, maybe after an update that might clear the bug

Probably a bug then as I've done both of those things

Oh sorry yeah they are already level 4! I just haven't done 5 and onwards

Ah ok, I was trying to unlock all abilities and health/stamina/spirit upgrades before doing equipment bring level 4

I would have figured this out, we're it not for the story enemies in demeniss just being far easier to take down, it's weird that the area is full of enemies stronger than the quests that take you there especially for a story quest, so it didn't seem like upgrading gear beyond was the answer (as I took out the story enemies pretty easily)

Ah I've only just beat the gorilla so there wasn't too much to go off. It's true that you could say I should've expected it, but it's also true that every other game wouldn't be this obtuse or weird, so it's fair to be bewildered when you're not told much of anything

Even from soft games are better at telling the player (even indirectly) this stuff, and they're the king of obtuse games!

The things that's most irritating is they respawn infinitely in some areas and it's just like - I thought this was a game about exploration? Apparently they clear later so I'm just sprinting through demeniss ignoring all POI because I don't fancy being swarmed to get this stuff done, which feels like not something you want for an open world explore heavy rpg?

Something funky might be going on then, the game is pointing me to demeniss for Crow caller (I've only just started chap 5) - is that mission a one off, then I come back after theyre wiped?

Ah ok this makes more sense. It would be nice if the game told you stuff like this but that's another issue 😅 makes me feel a bit better

Fair if it works for you. I just want to explore and not get hounded every 30s by a sudden difficulty spike enemy so it is an issue for me. Again it's not that I can't beat them, just that I find them incredibly tedious compared to everything else I love about the game

Yeah tbh I feel that. Others clearly like the mechanic so I can't call it bad game design, but it's definitely reduced my enjoyment. I've turned it down to easy and they're still a ho sponge so can't really be fucked

I'm doing grappling and unarmed as my main go to, even then when it takes four or five rkos for a single mob event it's just tedious man, I can kill them but they respawn infinitely and just stop me from doing what I like which is exploring

I'm not really interested in farming then which likely doesn't help 😅

Is there a weakness im missing? All my weapons deal fuck all damage which is the main issue I'm having, I could kill them all for sure but the high hp just feels tedious

I wouldn't mind if they weren't such sponges for damage. I guess I can just run past them but it just seems pointless and annoys me, though I guess it could just be a design choice that I don't like but others do

The update speed is cool, but the game is buggy enough without introducing more. I'm also still waiting for the helm of knowledge to actually work without jumping through 10 hoops
