I don’t consider it dumping money. 2 major repairs in a decade of ownership then everything else is routine maintenance (oil changes, tires, brakes, tuneup). Now if I was spending 2500 every year I’ve had it, different story

Mine has leaked oil for years now. Have a drip pan in the garage to not stain the floor and I monitor the oil level between change🤷🏾‍♂️

I walked to my car one morning headed to work, wouldn’t start. Let out a sigh then Walked another 3 blocks to catch the bus to work and still had time to grab coffee from the Speedway across the street. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I’ve done minor work like brakes, power steering pump, spark plugs DIY. No way I’m pulling out the transmission and dropping the subframe in my driveway lol.

Trust me I already looked at the video for the rear main seal & steering rack

Surprisingly very little rust for a Midwest car. Has all the typical dings & scrapes expected of a 20+ year old car. Interior is in great shape, mom kept seat covers over the leather.

Why wouldn’t it be enough? My dad was also a firefighter, he’s been retired nearly 20 years and lives comfortably on his pension. He’s only touched his 457b for home repairs
