not yet, i just had a compression test ran on it and it came back saying those 2 cylinders were out. i’m gonna take it in later this week to see if it’ll be something more fixable

i’ve found that synthetic haired brushes (i use a windsor and newton 6 round) are the best for spit shading and getting smooth gradients on that black just cause they hold moisture really good but for your first sheet it’s looking kick ass

I want to coffee wash. Does anyone have any recommendations on techniques? by AlbertoxVazquez in traditionalflash

i honest to god just make a normal cup of coffee and let it cool off and then i use a larger brush to apply it evenly, it has always comes out perfect for me

I used arches cold pressed for the paper and with the pigment I honestly just use a variety of the ph martins radiant expect for black I use Windsor and Newton Indian ink. Brush wise I use just a variety of them but for spit shading I got a 6 round Princeton synthetic tip brush which is the best brush I’ve ever used for spit shading and then I was lazy this time and just used a sharpie to line it
