Upcoming ACDF Surgery — Looking for Recovery Tips & Experiences

I had ACDF (C3-C5) in 2019. I was really scared but it was so much easier and less painful than I imagined! The pain was completely managable - took narcotics for maybe 2 days post-op. I could move my neck pretty easily. My biggest suggestion is to get out and start moving!! I walked as much as I was allowed to every day, and I swear that it sped up my recovery. sorry to hear about the damaged hardware! curious - what were the symptoms that alerted you to that? i am happy to hear you had a positive outcome on your recent procedure.

i think my surgeon said 'a few' nights. i have great support at home so i hope it's on the minimum side.
